As I told you previously,
S-Preme is at Lupe's concert in Chicago right now,
and after we found out about the live CD/DVD set, just minutes ago

Lupe just announced that the lupEND album will be a 3 disc set !

CRAZY !!!

I'm sure we'll have a video of the announcement soon

IF this is true, i bet i wont like 1.5. discs worth of material. and i aint sayin that cuz its lupe, cuz i like dude, but that would go for any artist puttinout that much material at once.

As a Lupe fan this is exciting and scary at the same time.
Initially I'm happy about three discs of material, then I wonder if he can pull it off without adding useless filler songs.
Double discs have disappointed numerous times, let alone a triple disc.

Each disc getting its own name gives me faith though.
hopefully each disc will have a distinct concept and be concise, that's the only way I can see this working.

Has anyone else done a triple disc?

I checked and the first one I found was Eightball's first solo album Lost which was a triple-discalbum that came out in 1998. It was supposedly a one up on the competition that was scrambling to release two-disc album similar to Pac's All Eyez on Me

He could make history with this. Going platinum will be easy too since they will count 1 album has selling 3 discs.
