Isn't City Rags the same as Laced? Like a store within a store? They was Out in Hamilton before and moved. They have been around for years.

hey guys,
last year i only was able to cop fire red 3s and 5s...mostly due to being really busy with school. this year im done school and i wanna cop every pair of J's that come out that I relaly like
first release im looking for is the powder blue 3s
any info on whats a good place to go? i know all the sneaker spots...its just the whole going early for a shoe is new to me.
SO if anyone could help me with the following, it would be great:
1)where to go (I'm based in sauga) -again i know all the spots its just what is the best/most convenient for new releases?
2)what time i should go (i guess it would vary based on hype of release?)
3)where i should line up - like if its in a mall i dont wanna miss the line or w/e

the reason I ask all this is becuase i got no homies who really like shoes as much as me...so any help is appreciated since ill be flying solo on these releases

There is no real answer to any of your questions. I'd love to tell you that you should go at open but obviously the game has changed. Because NT and all these other forums are public, for ppl to put a time (and location) to line-up really makes no sense. ppl will read it and cats will come earlier than the suggested time to try and secure their pair before you. Like many of the members on here have been saying over the past few pages, just go at a time you are comfortable with. In terms of lining up at a mall, the entry doors that are closest to the stores are usually where people line-up.

If its in a mall, you can go in when the mall opens. just stand beside the store, heck you might not even be the first one there. Just go early and line up, you should get a GR no problem. Dont quote me, I dont line up for shoes anymore since 2012. Shoe game is out of control in toronto the hypebeasts are everywhere

Word. Can't tell you how many times ppl didn't even know what they were lining up for just "The Jordan's" or the ppl that refer to every cw of the xi as "space jams" ex: "the black and red space jams" I'm no elitest but I cant help but cringe every time I hear **** like that

If you haven't already try kijiji,there was a crap load of pairs on there not too long ago. Many were resell prices but some times passed and I'm sure you could get them for retail.
