If you've decided that you trust that the Breds are legit, ask him to go through Paypal. Have him invoice you so that you have a record of the transaction, and if need be, pay a little extra for the Paypal fees. Way cheaper than driving all that way, and safer than an E-Transfer.

^ I wouldn't do it, someone on a local facebook group was scammed via EMT a month ago for $320 breds.

Never trust anyone who "has his paypal on hold". That's a telltale sign of someone attempting to rip you off. There was a guy on SC selling DS South Beach Lebron 9's for 350 shipped, but I had to pass because I'd been spending too much money. The dude posted some more stuff a little while after that listing was closed and said his paypal account was on hold and he had peoples' funds in it still. I was glad that I didn't end up trying to buy off of that guy. I would stay away if you feel kind of hesistant (unless he has a working paypal account again).

DO NOT e-transfer to that dude. Pretty sure he's been scamming people left and right. As a test, ask him if he can do a meetup in Ottawa or wherever he is. If its the seller I'm thinking of, he'll say he's out of town or he can't for some BS reason.

No lace bags in the picture also, plus the pics he took of the shoe barely show the shoe is authentic. Also when I clicked the link it said his address is in Toronto, not Ottawa. Doesn't seem to be too trustworthy.

Repped. Been really tempted by the WoWs lately and $180 all-in (shipped and taxed) to Canada is the cheapest I've seen.
Any direct experience with http://wayofwadeshoes.com/? Dig the generous return/refund policy. Doesn't look like they get any of the limited WoW releases, but even the GR WoW look really well made.

I checked it out, because I actually think the "Bred" looking Wade 2 colourway is pretty nice. The site looked fake to me from the get-go. Simple things like the amateur layout, the random price slashing(a must for fake sites) and the fact that there is a much more legit looking Way of Wade site that doesn't reference or link to this site. Scam Advisor also gave it a trust ranking of 45%, so i think it'd be best to not trust it. Shame, I would have given the shoes a shot, just out of curiosity.

Agree it looks pretty amateur, but my guess is that they do most of their business reselling to various shops. Saw PayPal and CC options - so you can get your money back if it's a scam. Seems like most people are copping directly from China, and even the reputable sellers have really ghetto looking sites.

Called sportchek for charging me incorrect taxes for an order I had placed - only to find out my Baron 9s order was "cancelled" due to "insufficient inventory", which I wasn't even informed about. Wondering if anyone else here experienced something like this, as I think this is sketchyAF cuz I was using the 10% discount maybe that's why they cancelled? Mad frustrated tho cuz I was rly feeling them..

Yeah in regards to the cat selling those Bred 1's; I may be incorrect but I believe he tried to scam me on some "out of town" bull too. I offered to meet up with him but he told me he was going to Vancouver; so I gave up on the dude. Honestly, it's too dangerous to cop them with anything other than Paypal, I think it is safe to say that any price that is too good to be true; is too good to be true. Also viewed his other ad, he has been trying to sell them since march 8th, when he only wanted 280, so almost certain it's a scam.

And they do ship out of the Burlington location so that's definitely a plus for us in the GTA.

i had them cancel on teh kobe 9 order i made without any reason. i ordered these at 7am on release day too.

havent had any experience with wayofwade shoes but they are very legit, apparently it is run by lining brand.
If you want more limited wow check out hibasketballsneakers they run more of course, but it would be worth it for say a year of the horse

Ya - heard of hibasketballshoes.com too. Know that reseller dude said to not buy from China sites, but a lot of co-signs on that site. Not like the old days anymore -- all the stuff is made there anyways.
