Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

I read a few pages back and the other person who bought a pair said he also got his pair from Ajax. And that there was a size 9.5 and 11 left. I grabbed the 11 and the 9.5 was already gone so I'm guessing it might have just been Ajax Marshall's to have them for that price. I don't know tho, if any other Marshall's have them I will update.

If anyone cares really, niagara on the lake has a new outlet opening and it has a 2 floor nike outlet. My brother that lives around there confirmed this And thursday is the grand opening. Outletcollectionatniagara.com i will give update once i get there hopefully friday if not saturday, unless someone on here get there first

2 Floor Nike Outlet seems pretty interesting, it's not too far from me either roughly about 35 minutes. It might be a Men's and Women's/Kid's split for each floor, or maybe a clothing and footwear split but solid none-the-less. The stores are pretty much identical to the Toronto Premium, with some additional vendors, but hopefully they adjust their Tuesday and Wednesday operational hours in the future.

I'm aiming towards the same days you're planning on visiting, maybe Friday if I'm not too bummed out from traffic, if not Saturday morning works too (hopefully dodging long weekend traffic).

**not asking for an employee store pass**

This is a real dumb question, but I have to clarify. ES store refers to the employee store, right? I've noticed a few people write ES store which I first didn't think twice about because I read it as Eaton Centre. Then realized I was a moron. Then I got tripped out about whether or not they mean to type employee store store, or whether there is some other store I couldn't think of. It actually just occurred to me that it could also be Eglinton Square. Can someone help out a common idiot (me)? What is ES store?

ouu thanks for the heads up, never knew there was a new outlet opening up. 2 floors nike outlet does sound interesting. I will definitely check it out, hopefully it won't be insanely crowded on thursday morning...most people do have work right? Kinda weird how it's pretty close to the other outlet too.

Yes when reports and things in reference to the "ES" everyone is talking about the Nike Empolyee Store. You have to have a pass or a invite.

There are ES passes going around now for the ' Nike Employee Store Summer Event' which will run from May 28- June 7. I already have received a few pass for this, so it should be easy to obtain from your work or friends.

So because Sport Chek is running a completely bullish*t Nike promotion(free shipping on all Nike orders), you can't use the 25% off F&F code, only the 10% option. What a joke.

Grab the Crazy 1's as a consolation... that was my morning decision.

108$ at your door... decent deal.

i noticed that too...but what about in store? Will the 25% apply?

I'm going to check it out in store in about an hour, so I'll let you know. It's kinda tough because most places outside of Eaton Center don't really get the better ball-shoes/higher end Nike shoes, so even if the discount applies, you have to be at the right spot to fully take advantage.

Buying shoes in Canadian is such a joke. Whenever there's a good offer like this it's difficult to even take advantage of. Ever since they stopped letting you use SPC on worthwhile shoes my local purchases have continued to dip.

Dude, I haven't seen you in years. Hope all is well?

Agreed, it's just rarely ever worth it to buy at Canadian retail. I used to travel to the US often for my job so I'd usually stock-up while there. Now that I don't travel as much I'm either just playing the Outlet/online discount game, or saving a ton of money, both of which I don't mind doing. I don't need to spend $200+ on a pair of Concord Lows, or $300+ on whatever ridiculous Nike Elite basketball shoe that comes out.

For those wondering, I went to Sport Chek and the person at the counter was clueless about the online promotion, so I think you're safe buying Nike's in-store, but it could very well depend on who's working.

I have a question about basketballs though, and nowhere to really ask this. I want to take advantage of the 25% off deal and get a new ball for the summer, and was wondering if anyone had experience with these two balls, or if one if definitively better than the other. It will be used exclusively outside, just for training/messing around--no game use. I've usually used Nike Elite balls in the past for their durability, but they're not available here anymore, and I wouldn't mind upgrading.

I can't speak to the Spalding model but I have the Wilson and it has held up pretty well after being used outdoors exclusively. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I usually just wait til I'm in Boston or one of my family members is to grab stuff for US retail. I usually have things shipped down there via NDC or have someone pick me up something in store. If that isn't an option I just wait for a sale locally or a reasonable local seller. Sometimes I also wait for sales on things through Euro sites, but even that is a crapshoot with customs/duties. The prices people are asking on those Concord lows on kijiji are insane (275-300) here :x Cdn retail is bad enough, resale is just criminal
