Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

True story. They're so comfortable. Somehow I ended up with 5 pairs lol

I'm at 1 pair of Lunar 1's and 1 pair of Trainers. I just wish we got more pairs at the outlets in Canada. I hate always having to rely on relatives to reship everything from NDC and other sites

I think too many people are hating on HoH, I was able to pick up a couple What the KD's, a cigar, and a champagne! Maybe I am just lucky, but that was a pretty random W I walked away with. In regards to people "knowing" the staff; there are not that many sneakerheads in Toronto, so yeah, a lot of people seem to know each other. I'd be willing to bet people in this group talk to each other over NT, without even realizing they know the person in real life.

I wish, wouldn't have to line up lmao ... nah it is just I have been to every spot in Toronto, and I feel like if any of us were in their position, we would do the same ****. Like someone said earlier, you wouldn't hook up your homies before people you don't know? Also couldn't have won the raffle, employees of footlocker can't enter any of the public raffles.
"I was able to pick up a couple What the KD's, a cigar, and a champagne!"  Thats problem right there! How many pairs of each did you get? "Also couldn't have won the raffle, employees of footlocker can't enter any of the public raffles." means you or a close friend works at the HOH! I could really care less if you do but lets face the fact you signed up alittle while ago and havent offered much to NT but win a few raffles so you say?Lets see what you have won?  I dont care if you work there the fact is that store is a joke! What do they carry that i cant get from another store in this City? Nothing store and staff are a joke thats why I will never support it!  Now please show your little friends that work at HOH! Not that they would care.

You don't have to come at me so hard man; my girl & I signed up for the raffle, she won a champagne and what the kd, I won a cigar and what the kd. I have friends who work at other footlockers, told me the policy. I will try to contribute more, just I haven't had anything solid to contribute to the group. This group is soo salty, this was the first time I'd ever won a raffle, go to share a positive experience, and y'all act like I'm the DM of FL lmao.

That guy is a DOUCHEBAG TOO! Didn't mean to come to you so hard but really that store/ company is a JOKE!

they're just shoes man

no matter how limited something is, the following saturday/month/year/quarter there will be something else that you could get your hands on.  if you miss a release, thats just more money u have to spend on the next one.

and lets say for example you set aside 250 dollars a week for a new Nike/Jordan release, and you happened to be so "screwed over by raffles and resellers" and miss every single one for an entire year.  so while everyone else seems to be as happy as a pig in **** every saturday with new Nike/Jordans to do whatever the hell people do with their sneakers nowadays, you're literally sitting on 12,000 dollars to play with.

yeah you missed a drop, it happens...you aren't defined by the shoes you wear, so why put so much emphasis on obtaining them?

I know they are just shoes! Also never got one the KD bandwagon, or any of the new Jordan's as in Cigar and Champane. Haven't wanted any I these releases! Nor any Jordan releases this year! I didnt put emphisis on getting them! It's the fact I don't agree with Hoh/footlocker.

I've only been to HOH once my entire life which was for the MC, and the staff seemed alright to me. Idk maybe people are looking for handouts, so they direct their frustration towards the employees? Obv there's some inside stuff going on that we don't know, but I've gotten every release (online) I want and if you put in the work going to various HOH locations I'm sure you'll at least win a pair. It was the same with the Kobe Prelude release. I did my hwk to see whether KB24 would release, and sure enough I got the P4 easily when they oversold the P1. Put in the work and you're guaranteed a pair.

Don't mention KB24 man, I knew about them releasing the WTK8s and Preludes but they do a noon Eastern time release, and I'm often at work and it's before my lunch break, so I can never get it from there. I've been to HOH a few times and yeah I was genuinely surprised I got called for the WTKDs, I don't know any FTL employees personally and never win these so I'm shocked I got a call for this

None of these shoes appealed to me this year so I'm thankful I could save my money and put it towards a pair I like. For example, I love the OG color ways of the Jordan 1s. So I copped some Chicago 1s at the same price a new release I didn't even care for would've run me ($230 after taxes or so).

Yeah I don't care about the KDs or the 6s that dropped, but hearing ALLEGATIONS that FTL/HOH is running some shady business is unsettling because what if that happens to me when I pair of shoes I want goes to a reseller who slipped them an extra $$$ that I don't have to do the same?

It's whatever though, I'm alright with putting my money towards my education and not being on OSAP.

Anyone know a good day to go to the Nike ES?
As far as HOH, I've got to know some of the staff and most seem cool, but when the Concord Lows came out, I was offered to have a pair put aside for me, only to find out the employee wanted to charge me $250!

From past experience, it's really hit or miss. I've gone on Wednesdays where they restocked from the weekend, but then I've gone on other Wednesdays where the racks were bone dry, which I assume meant that they would restock for Thursday.

Friday's overall have been decent as they prep the shelves for the upcoming weekend rush. If you don't care about what's coming out on Saturday, then Friday's a good day to go just to avoid the crowd.

That said, I've gone on Saturdays before where they put out previous weekend drops (Lebron 10 Hazelnuts come to mind) just randomly out and nobody knew that they were coming since it was a couple weeks after the release date.

I know, not much help haha. But if you're looking for something in particular, you can call them and ask if they have it or not before going. Especially if you call during a weeknight, I've found the staff to be pretty helpful just over the phone at letting you know what they have.

*edit Sometimes I've seen them pull some shoes from the back for you that aren't on the shelves. I assume they're normally just trying to get rid of what's out there but some of them are nice enough to go to the back and grab stock for you.

Does anyone have any experience using a proxy/reship service with purchases from NDC? Good/bad experiences? Looking to buy some Kobe 9 low IDs. Forgot the poster, but I remember reading awhile back that someone bought a shoe on its release day. They got a call back and they were told that they don't support reshipping services. Luckily his order went through because it was purchased on release day IIRC.

You're taking your chances. it may slip by unnoticed, but it may get cancelled. I don't know a whole lot about reshipping because I always get my aunt to reship things in Boston, but I think it's really hit or miss when using these services on NDC. Do you have any relatives/friends in the States who could reship for you? If you don't I think there's a few members on here who can reship NikeID stuff for you. Sdubl is one of them. I hope that helps

I remember seeing that post. The guy was using Reship.com, which I've used successfully recently to make my NikeID airmaxes. So I'm not sure if they flagged that site after I placed my order (literally 2 weeks before that guy posted about Nike calling him), or if my order just went through undetected.

Tons of interest on the nike tech pants that I posted about yesterday. Everyone interested...lots of flakers.

Going to do a deal for the NT fam. $125 for the person who picks up first. I'm located downtown. These are brand new, size medium and impossible to find. Canadian retail is $95+tax=108. Not making money here...just keeping a few bucks for my time/travel to get them from the US. PM me.

Yeah that was me.  They were the yeezy foamposite that I purchased on NDC and got the phone call the same day from Nike questioning my US address (reship.com).  They found out I use a reshipping service and they said they'd let it go this time, but not again.  Since, I've been using a friends US residential address so I had no problem. This is just my experience, some have got through using reship.

Shoutout to Nike and Jordan brand for keeping quality control on point for their products. Smh. I really hope they step their game up in 2015 because the quality on the stuff they put out these days is straight trash.
