Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

Am I the only one who the bay screwed over? Heh.

Don't know how accurate this information is but someone told me it's illegal and/or against business ethics to cancel a customer's order due to a mistake made by the company. Companies are supposed to honor these prices. Which is why airlines honor pricing errors on flights. Anyone have more insight?

I dont want to get into it to much as its a long process to explain and really understand. No offence to anyone. Under the Canadian consumers act there is a code that they must honour their mistakes for pricing. I found about all about this when Merkle Camera in Toronto accidentally put their Canon 7D for a retail price of just under $700. The camera at that time was less than 6 months old and retailed for almost $2000. I work at a law firm and I had one of the associates i chat with on a regular and he printed out the "Canadian Consumer Act". He showed me a section which states basically where they have to honour the price it was bought for. Long story short you will need to file a law suit to win the case, specially with a big company like Hudsons Bay company. In my story it ends where I did get one Canon 7D at the sale price( I ordered 5-6 and tried to take advantage

). It took the associate at my firm to use his free time to write them a legal letter and phone calls to make this happen. I was not going to get legal help but he offered to see what he can do.

There is alot of detail missing from my story on how I was able to get on camera. Lots of fine detail that will make or break the case according to the associate who helped me. If you really want to know the details PM me and ill get at you.

Hope this helps someone...some people just dont know what they are entitled to unless they seek for help. I just got lucky knowing someone or i would have just left it alone and

Hey random question but does anyone know where in the city i can find nike destroyer jackets?

Try Today's Sportswear or The Vault.

I've spotted a couple at Today's in Brampton, but haven't paid much attention to the other locations. Best to call ahead, but those are a start.

I worked in a big box retail store and we had to abide by these rules... http://www.competitionbureau.gc.ca/eic/site/cb-bc.nsf/eng/01262.html

But if a price was incorrect, I usually said "whatever" and gave them the incorrect price. I rather not deal with someone *****ing at me for the companies mistake. I'm not sure how that applies to online shopping/promo codes, but it doesn't hurt to look into it. I'm just trying to point you in a correct direction

Has anyone seen this hoodie from any stores within the GTA?

I have seen another color way of this on clearance @ Champs Sports in Dufferin Mall and at various Winners. But not this particular one.

I guarantee you it'll take a while for Hudson's Bay to reply to you on that one unless everybody who got their order cancelled sent a letter and took it to the media, though I'm not sure if the Act covers for usage of multiple codes (that could be a script error) but business ethics-wise they should honour the order.

Is there anywhere in the GTA where I can buy the Black/Sail roshe runs? or the black/ash grey ones that look similar? Thankss

First, there is a big difference between the law and business ethics. Trust me when I say if it was illegal for The Bay to cancel these orders, they wouldn't have done it and exposed themselves to that level of legal repercussions. Mistakes happen, price errors occur every single day. Companies don't HAVE to honour the errors at all - if they do, consider yourself lucky as it was a nice gesture on their part. This wasn't even a price error, but a flaw in their online system which let people stack coupons....which as stated, isn't allowed.

True about the legal vs ethical, but it appears The Bay is being underhanded (check that RFD thread) by telling people they are out of stock/back-ordered instead of cancelling due to an error, especially for Quebec customers. Reason being: with a law in Quebec, even if it is an error they legally have to sell at the error price.

Shady as hell when people are seeing the items they were told were "out of stock" clearly show still available to purchase on the site...without code stacking of course.

Diplomat or any of you guys get hit with customs/duties when you supreme order got to your house?

Never paid, but it will be interesting to see what happens this F/W season because they started to include printed receipts in the packages.

For those who got their bay order canceled, I reordered the same thing and was able to stack using the new codes.
HBCSEPT for 25% off ( ends sept 11)
CEBK915 $15 off 75 or more

Ordered on Monday night and got my order delivered today.

Unless Supreme screws up somewhere, you'll never get hit with customs from them. They're one of the rare retailers using whatever the UPS option is to take care of customs on their end.

http://www.supremenewyork.com/shop/faq says: "Orders shipping to Canada are charged a flat rate of $25 for UPS standard service, inclusive of customs and duties"

Just dropped by the halton outlets. Nothing much. Saw a pair of Fire Red 3s behind the counter though. They have the grape 5s socks in the mini shoe box. No further discount on the walls or racks this week.
