Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

Just came back from the ES.  They have the Kyrie AF1 in the black/red CW.  They didn't have the blue/white one.  They also have KD VII gold medals.  I was able to scoop the last 9.  Everyone int he store seemed to be buying them so there aren't many left.

Did they have any of the roshe sneakerboots? Thanks!

any kobe 9 gym blue?

More like determination.. I'm driving 4 hrs to get this shoe. So I can't miss out and at 265 retail I won't even think about the reseller route. Call me lame if you want but I have no problem lining up several hours for this shoe to make sure I get my pair, even in this weather.
why not save the 4hrs and stress?  get it through the web from europe.

I'll have to investigate , always thought it would be an arm and leg for shipping aswell as conversion rate. It might work out to the same seen as thou I'm paying for gas and all that.

they had them but not a lot left...  they weren't even on the wall.  They were moved to the hash wall by the time I got there which was like 10:30.  There were maybe about 6 pairs and they were decent sizes.

Has anyone seen the Lunarterra Arktos boots anywhere local?
Don't bother....one of the worst boots I have ever owned, quality and functionality ...but if you must, Halton hills has a few pairs of the sp model in the back at $99 plus 25% off but still not worth it to me.

really surprised to hear this. what don't you like about them? with a little help from chemical toe warmers, they kept my feet from freezing during a couple campouts last winter. was thinking about replacing the liner with a pair of those goose down sock booties to increase the warmth even more for this winter

The warmth aspect is decent but mine leaked water, the top collar is very thin and sharp and with my pair had a little extra material so it was bent/faced in towards my ankle cutting right through socks and my skin on both feet. The Velcro that holds the booty on one side started ripping away from the inside of the boot making the booty skate around in the boot and wearing these boots without the booty is very very uncomfortable as the base is hard as rock. They are not really true to size either. I've just never had such a bad experience with a boot previously and I own two pairs...the sp and team usa Sochi. Both have their own but very similar issues.

anyone know where I can get some timbs (preferably black nubuck) with any discount in store or online? Also anyone know if there's a big difference between the basics and premiums in terms of the 6 inch boot?

Premiums are waterproof, double-soled, more sturdy, and more durable. Because of all that they're a little bit heavier, plus....they look better. The places I know that sell them here (Contraband in Yorkville, Nomad on Queen West), I can't see them going on sale since they sell good at regular price anyways. Maybe call them on Wed/Thurs right before Black Friday and see if they'll be on sale? only other option I'd suggest is checking Timberland.com's BF sale. Last year the black nubuck were 55% off, but it's a U.S. site so you'll need to have an American address to ship to.

Try svp for timbs. Steeles has them for about $160, tho unsure if that particular colour is available.

Anyone go to the sneaker event yesterday?

I went. Not trying to be disrespectful to the person/people who put it on but I thought it was a huge disappointment. The venue was very small and dark. You couldn't really move without bumping into people. It was so dark to the point that most people were walking around using their phones as flashlights. There weren't many vendors. From talking to a few of the vendors, they were not happy with the venue. Prices were what you'd probably expect.

I didn't think it would be bad in terms of location...  most of the time these events are bad because of the lack of vendors and awful prices.  The ones here are nothing like the ones in the US.  I went to one years ago find that you will have a few tables with shoes and the rest are ones that are selling their own clothing.  Good to know that it was pretty much a flop.  Time and money saved.
