Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

I had the same **** happen to me I sent a pair of shoes to asia with shipping paypal supposedly states your covered as long as you provide a tracking number.

apparently thats wrong even tho you have proof of shipment unless it says delivered you are not covered as a seller. I find that policy extremely stupid when it comes to international shipments because once the package leaves canada it's up to the receiving countries to scan the package in. some international countries do not update shipping status.

I told the woman I shipped the shoes so once it leaves my hands I have no control over what happens she says it sucks but it has to show delivered.

she also stated Canada post isn't the way I should send packages I have to ship via FedEx or ups because those do updates rhe entire time.

shipping internationally is a waste cuz most of the time you get ******
I thought I was in the clear once the tracking update said delivered. Learnt my lesson, gonna stick with Canada and US shipping from now on. No issues with those so far.

Yeah I don't ship overseas. Furthest is maybe the U.K. but even then I'm more than likely passing. I've heard too many bad stories from friends who have experienced the same thing.

Damn, anybody get a call back for raffles? I entered at 3 diff places and nothing -_- Can't believe the hoops you have to jump through just to purchase a pair of sneakers these days sigh

Just wana rant a little.

Some guy from Korea buys a hat from me on eBay and I follow all the steps and provide tracking. Shipping is expensive as hell and slow as ****. The guy files a dispute a few weeks in saying it hasn't arrived (which according to tracking it hasn't) and I provide all relevant tracking to eBay. During the dispute, the tracking changes from In Transit to Delivered, so I contact eBay and tell them the tracking says the hat has been delivered so the dispute should close right. NOPE! eBay sends me some automatic message saying to send them photos of receipt and everything since they thought the tracking always said Delivered and the buyer never received it. So now they are holding onto my funds and wasting my time.

Also few weeks ago I sent two pairs of shoes to aussie for whooping $90 shipping fee and it was by ship which takes around 1.5 month. Gonna be same crap again when that guy files a dispute...

Never selling overseas again.

if you're selling on ebay then use the global shipping program. the buyer has to pay for taxes and all that before hand when he pays for the item. but then you ship to ebay's distribution center or whatever it is and its in kentucky. that way it gets there fast and with tracking and shipping is more reasonable. you don't have to worry about shipping to places without tracking and stuff. will save you a lot of headaches in the future.

As a buyer I avoid sellers using the Global shipping program because of the ridiculous duties. I usually ask them to not use it. But for overseas, this is a good idea even if you lose a couple of potential buyers. A few years ago I sold a Givenchy sharktooth necklace that was worth $800+ to China, I couldn't sleep for nights worrying about what if they don't scan the package and if the buyer decides to scam me.  They didn't scan the package but thank god the guy was honest and it went alright. Looking back that's probably one of the riskiest sale I have ever made.

Btw if any of you guys ship to the states a lot, use Chit Chat Express. They take your package to the states and ship it through USPS with tracking for at least half the price and time it takes to ship it from Canada Post. Very reliable company. All you need to do is go to one of their locations in the GTA, print out the shipping label from their computers, pay the postage, drop off your package and they will make daily trips to the states to drop off packages at a USPS location.

Prices you are looking at to ship a box of shoes is around $10, depending on the size and weight. I have shipped a lot of stuff for only $2-5 in evelopes.

Would they take a few days or week to bring it over the border? Or are their operation big enough to do it daily? Cause a lot of US buyers expect their package to arrive within a week of purchase.

They go drop off their trucks daily, I believe their truck leaves at 3-4pm everyday. Packages usually arrives within 2-3 days.

Passed by Dixie Outlet this morning and FTL had the Nike Air Trainet SC II in the OG wht/gry/blue/blk color way. About 12 pairs in various sizes ,grabbed the last size 10. Nothing else stood out in terms of "heat". $94.99 is the price with no additional discount.

That was a easy solution. All you had to do is call ebay and explain the item has been dropped off. They will close the case right away. (done it countless times, 10 min total time)

There is only a few places that you should never ship - Russia, Jamaica and countries involved in wars.

Why would you ship via ground? it cost you a whooping 90 dollars but if you separated the two shoes you could of sent each via tracked packet for similar price. Or pay the extra to get it sent via air mail. If the buyer wants, he can open a case and ebay will rule before the item is dropped off.

which raffle? I entered for the 5's and didn't get a call but they're sitting at some places...  I guess it's just my size.  Not gonna bother hunting for them.  I'll wait for resellers to get desperate and grab them for under retail
