Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

Has anyone ever ordered anything from overseas in the UK and gotten hit with duties? I want to order a pair of kicks but I'm wondering around how much I can expect to be charged extra for duties. Thanks!
Safe to assume you will get hit with duties if the item is over $50, I've gotten hit with duties from End. and some other site (for just a t-shirt). Usually duties are 13% tax + whatever brokerage/duties the carrier feels like charging. Brokerage/duties vary between the various carriers, if it comes by way of Canada Post (whatever the UK post office is called, it will be handled by Canada Post once it lands in Canada) that will be as fair as it gets. Anything else, be prepared to be hit with $20+ brokerage/duties and 13% tax. You can do the brokerage/importing by yourself, you will have to go to a Canada Customs Office and clear the items, did this a couple of times and they only charged me the 13% tax on the item's value, they can charge duties on top too, but usually they don't care.

Because of this, I find it more convenient to just ship packages from Europe/Asia to my US mailbox, I've never been hit with duties when shipping to the US.

Anyone know where I can pick up black or white wood hangers? I need to purchase about 200 hangers. Attached is a pic of my floors and closet colour.

400

Just a few days ago, the US raised their minimum value that can be charged duties from $200 to $800, so it's even less likely now.

Amazon.ca carries the black wooden ones, like the ones in clothing stores. There is a 96 count pack option.
Zara home at Yorkdale might also have them

who took L with the safari Air Max 1 on Nike.ca

Carted immediately but just to get a message that I took too long to checkout when in fact I tried to check out as soon as it was in my cart :smh:

Got blind-sided by CS as they messaged it will be this afternoon or tomorrow morning :frown:

Another AM loss...just like The 6

Suggest refreshing. I had auto-refresh on for every 10 seconds. Sizes showed up...then gone....then back up. Was able to checkout the second time around.

What is the trick to adding to cart on NDC?

It seems like every release I've always gotten:

Sorry, this item isn't available anymore because other shoppers added it to their carts first. But if they don't check out in the next few minutes, you've still got a chance. Please try again shortly. [Code: 010N-00300026]

Pure luck or by cheating and using bots. I've never won a local raffle or copped any hyped release online. Today, I mashed the refresh button and got lucky. Was shocked when it happened. I tell you tho... It does feel great to finally scoop something after all these late nights and early mornings catching Ls.

I agree - online is super tricky especially footlocker and nike.com. However refreshing every few seconds does open up different sizes and you can get lucky sometimes.
