Never ordered from them but if it's UPS, expect to pay unless they proactively mark the value low.
 
Just swooping by to say nothing much was at VaughanMills today. Snapped some pictures but really nothing impressive today as far as I was there at noon. Back wall still have 25% off. Not a lot of sizes left for the foamposites and roshes if yall are curious.
 
I'm in Scarborough as well. For low-priced items, I normally meet at Kennedy Station because it's convenient for me. However, once the price hits a certain amount, 95% of my Scarborough meet-ups take place at STC.
 
If you're a person that can handle certain situations then go ahead meet wherever, but a lot of folks doing these Kijiji meetps are folks that can't. So I would suggest just meeting up in malls and being smart. Scarborough isn't the only place this is happening, I remember seeing a story of cats getting robbed from Kijiji meetups in the west end too. It can happen anywhere. I'm pretty sure I've passed on a few once I saw the odd locations they asked me to meetup.


Even though it wasn't for shoes and it was extreme, the Tim Bosma case (dude who got murdered after a Kijiji meetup selling his truck) should always be in the back of people's mind when selling online.
 
^ Definitely. I was just giving an example of my situation and nothing bad has happened so far. (Hopefully, it stays that way).
 
For anyone looking to get Bred 1's, stock quantities have increased and over 25 stores are getting them. The extra stock was supposed to be released that the Jordan store but we all know its gonna take a lifetime for that to open up.

A friend of mine got me kicks using his discount since he works at champs. I wanna return them or exchange them but the letters on the insole is kinda smudged out. Do you think they would notice? What if I was to swap the insole to just regular black ones. Also, can I return it or does my friend since his name is on the receipt?

As a reference, DHL billed me $84 for duties and brokerage on a pair of Spiridon's. I self cleared it and only paid $25. Takes a bit of leg work on your end, but the payoff is worth it.

You can do exchanges without receipts.  I used to tell friends to do this when I hooked them cuz I've already done them a favour by getting them stuff on disco.  If they weren't happy with it, they would have to put in their own leg work.  Just tell them it was a gift.
 
Anyone have an addidas employee store pass? 

- Got one for last month but didn't have time to go. Will definitely return the favour when I get it next time. We usually get 1-2 a year.
 
Just curious as I've never went or had the chance (or even seen passes) to visit an Adidas/Nike employee store before, do they generally have better stock/choices/prices than the ones in the outlets?

Its hit or miss to be honest. I've been to each once and walked out with nothing. Found better deals at local outlets to be honest, but it also depends on when you go.

From my experience. The Addidas one you are likely to find some decent cheap deals as the pass typically has 50% off additional (at least all the passes I've used). I'm trying to find some boost products this time.

Edit:

I recall there were some drose's for cheap and the wiggens crazylight boost. Was below retail + the 50% off everything form the pass.

For the Nike store, I find its only good if you are looking to buy  a bit below retail for some hot releases. Not sure about Jordans but was able to find some Kobe's there for below retail but definitely not a "steal". If you are looking for steals I would say check out Outlets. Never found any steals at the Nike employee stores. At least not on shoes.
