Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

**** haven't bought off eBay forever, didn't realize the $420CDN included a $50USD tax. Passed on the pair, I'll keep looking out and maybe I'll get lucky. Not too desperate right now!

Btw it's size 13, and shipped from within Canada so that's a pretty narrow eBay search.

Edit: just found and purchased a pair for $390cdn. Happy I passed on the other pair.
friend picked up a pair in the same size last night for under $400 as well

I kinda caved and had them shipped to my mom's house in the US because I wasn't finding any pair for less than $500 in Canada, and I'm not about to wait on the potential for a re-stock any time soon. Only problem is that I have to wait until October to get them, but it saved me about $100-150 doing so.

friend got his locally.  Prices are dropping by the day.  TBH, not many people wear a 13 so the majority of the people that bought them, bought them to resell.  When online pairs come in, there will be even more available on the secondary market.  Guess it doesn't matter too much if you're in no rush to get them.

Congrats man, I'm trying to put this release behind me but the thought of them still lingers!

Same. So cheesed about it. Sick to my stomach that people are paying these crazy resale prices too smh. Everyone and their grandma bought them to resell. Personally, I'mma chalk it up as another loss to the bots. I'd never pay that much over retail.. Ever. Waiting to cop some ****** 'what the' 1s as trade bait.

Went for a 2nd pair for just a bit over that price shipped . Paypal fees and our crappy exchange don't help matters but it is what it is.

I'm also trying to secure a second pair, but the cheapest I've seen/been offered is $450 for a size 10. Not sure if I'll pull the trigger and have till the end of the day to decide. Size 10's locally have been hard to track down for under $500 and don't know if waiting it out will really make that much of a difference in price. I almost got my second pair of Courtside but got hit with the sold out at check out.

My thing was trying to keep it at about 400, but at the end of the day, if I'm spending that much already what's another $25-30. Decided to just go for it

Yeah honestly I'm sure I could have been a little patient and got them for $20-30 less but I'd rather spend $20 now and guarantee a pair than cheap out by $20 and maybe not get one.

Hopefully I can get in on one of those re-stocks tho.

Who got a pair of triple white 2.0s from that adidas Yonge in-store restock today?

I was gonna go on my lunch break to check out the scene but I got lazy.

Hey guys just wanna know if this is a good deal for $400 cad to his jordan 1 chicago vnds let me know what u guys think?

That is a lot for used shoes.

I'm not into buying used shoes. But if you are asking, it means you are considering it. So if you can live with the price, I would say go for it.

That's not a completely unreasonable price for Chi 1s, but since they're used it depends on how badly you want them. I generally avoid used shoes because pics can avoid any problem areas, but I do purchase used shoes from time to time if the price is right (ie. when i bought VVVVNDS Yeezy foams for $130). So if you would rather save $30-50 and get a used pair, go for it.

I prob wouldn't pay any more than $300 for those.  I bought a DS pair in my size for about $450.  My friend found a DS pair for under $400

Yeah, $350 (DS) would be the most I would pay if I really wanted them. No way I'm paying the same price as Bred 1s for those.

Hey guys, anyone know where I can possibly find a DS pair of Oreo 4s size 13 for sale for a reasonable price? I wasn't into sneakers until recently so I wasn't able to buy em when they released, but those shoes look too good...thinking of just accepting the L and move on though.

To you more experienced people, what are the odds of finding a DS size 13 pair? Probably not that good right?

TIA

Edit: I'd like to avoid U.S ebay auctions because I'd like to examine the shoes in person before buying them.

Seller flaked on me today. I bet someone offered him more.

We agreed on $450 and to meet in the lobby of the building I work in for 1pm. At 2pm, I text him to see where he was and he said he was 30 min away. Once 4pm came and he still didn't arrive and stopped responding to my texts I knew the deal was dead. Smh

SVP brought in two modern logo Toronto Raptors Starter Jackets, one is black satin for $79 and the other is grey faux wool for $89 (I think the Blue Jays version is selling at Urban Outfitters for $179).

Gotta complete that 90's gangsta look with a Starter Jacket and a pair of J's.

Do you have pics of them? And what location? I hope its the steeles warehouse...recently whenever I go to there I leave with nothing

Also a pic of the blue jays version would be cool, I tried to find it online but no good. Thanks

This is at the SVP Scarborough store.

I found these pix off Google, looks better in person imo. I can't find the Blue Jays one but I saw it weeks ago at Square One Urban Outfitters.

The satin one fits a little tighter than the faux wool one but they are both designed for big guys just like the old days.

Of course the vintage ones were made much better.

I think the really nice Mitchell and Ness wool and leather one goes for like $450, that wool is kinda stiff like a Marc Newson G-Star Raw coat but for a much lower price.

They're not bad...if only the Steeles location would get some good stuff haha. I'ma have to check out the Steeles location to see if they got it too. Thanks!

People are the worst. Sorry to hear this happened. Hard to take people at their word these days. You'll find a pair I'm sure. Hopefully for cheaper too. I got tracking on mine so I'm just playing the waiting game now.
