Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

This thread seems to get much more annoying/uninteresting whenever there's a Yeezy drop...

Thats the quick & easy way but sharpie dont stick all that well on fabric. It sticks as a faded stain if you are ever unlucky enough to get it on yourself but as an actually coloring agent its not that great.

Get fabric paint.
yea I wouldn't suggest Sharpies for blacking out fabric.  It's gonna stick out once you apply it on the uppers and it'll be very obvious esp if you don't plan on trying to be precise and just cover the lettering and apply it all over.

Might be a long shot,

But I got a size 9 take flight 8's, looking to swap for a size 9.5 if anyone is interested shoot me a PM!

I have a pair of 4 OG size 9.5 and looking to trade for 10.5. I don't have a box or store receipt. Was purchased from nike clearance store in Florida. DS

#TRUE. Lets go back to 1st page of this thread.

"This is a thread to cut down the numerous useless posts in the last thread.

Posts regarding store and Outlet reports ONLY. NOTHING EL

No posts regarding sizing.
No posts regarding if so and so is legit or not
No posts regarding where to buy_____...."

We've come a long way baby.

That's a good idea. I'm not saying everyone shouldn't be free to post what they want but all that's in here is line updates and raffle talk about yeezys. Some people don't give any effs about yeezys...

Honestly though, this thread has evolved. There's really no dedicated place to talk about sneakers in Toronto in general that I've found other than FB groups. That's why I've asked for the title of this thread to be changed to "The Toronto Thread" or something like that.

Plus, there's only a few Yeezy drops a year, other than a few weeks out of a whole year, this thread stays on topic.

I was thinking the other day, the Toronto thread should be separated into two threads: Toronto Adidas forum and Toronto Nike/Jordan
I would back this so hard. Especially when someone is complaining about people discussing a Jordan release that was 3 days ago.

Unless it was sarcastic. In which case, I respect it.

Rang Champs and they said no raffle today. Really annoying when the website states two days.

I'm new here and have been accountless for a few months or so before I made one the last few days, probably have not much say in this in terms of you regulars here. I don't meant to disrespect any of you guys but honestly, this thread has been the most active, helpful, and nicest thread from any other Toronto shoe discussions (and there's not a lot). It's nice to see all kinds of news within one thread in my opinion, the thread doesn't move as actively to begin with. If people have gone to the outlets, most of you guys here update it regardless.

and honestly, it's pretty common for people to talk about a shoe when that shoe is popular at the moment, it'll go by when the next popular nike/jordan comes out (harder in the modern days, when we must admit there are people here probably who don't even share the sentimental connection with Jordans, know who Jordan even is/have seen him play, or just into hype sneakers for reselling, but that's a whole another discussion

We are ALL hypebeasts in some amount, shape or form......
Not everyone is buying into the hype. These line up stories are entertaining though.

I still can't believe so many people are investing so much time for a CHANCE to buy a pair of shoes. You're not even guaranteed to get them lmao.

Have to say pretty much sums up my thoughts. Majority of posts in this thread are people providing info and being helpful. I even asked about the Bose outlet a few pages back and someone was kind enough to respond. And I like to post good deals whenever I see them, on other brands/streetwear etc. Where would that go if it was a strict Nike discussion thread. I'm not big into Jordans/Nike basketball but it doesn't bother me to read through people discussing raffles/lines/sizing/quality/the glory days etc. It's all part of the culture. Just my 2 cents for what its worth.

^ Agree, this thread moves very slowly if we start to restrict it to a few topics. Some of the for sale posts are annoying, but I don't mind the retail oops.

TPO Nike Outlet had some Zoom All Out Flyknits for like $146 + 20% off

Saw some 9.5 10.5 12

But it's a pretty interesting discussion we have here, the 2 things I feel really helpful being split into 2 (well 3 if you count this thread as an outlet report on its own), is that the info will be more easier to find, and topics will straight only be that brand. Pretty sure some of us don't want to/have the time to scroll through pages in order to see the previous store outlet deals or jordan releases, when you realize you have to go through a few pages of Yeezy raffle/lineups in this case.

But like The6ixx said, this thread already moves very slowly (unless a popular drop is near). I prefer to stay as one, as it's always nice to see the + and - side of what everyone thinks about a shoe, possibly opening doors for others to try new shoes, and quite frankly, sometimes random 'at-the-moment' topic/discussions like this.

This thread moves way too slow to separate. Plus I actually like having actual discussion with you folks on here, since we all are from the GTA, as opposed to transforming the thread into just store report posts only.

I was thinking the other day, the Toronto thread should be separated into two threads: Toronto Adidas forum and Toronto Nike/Jordan
I think we should have a general Toronto thread plus an Adidas release thread and a Nike release thread. I think this should be used for deals and general discussions about the city. And there should be an optional 4th thread to hate on people who wait in line and try to show off by wearing a different pair of Yeezys on each foot...

I'm cool with the Yeezy talk. I normally just scroll through it anyways unless there's something funny that pop ups with cats in line ups or stories you guys share. It's good that's this thread is active. I remember creating the Yeezy 2 thread 5 years ago and there was barely any activity. The times have changed.
