I'd prefer the type that don't go directly into the drum, but if I can't help it then so be it. I'd prefer to keep it up $50 if possible.Thanks.

son, phillips in ear earphones...i got mine for 20 bucks. the most ive seen them was 30 beans

I've been buying headphones within your price bracket for years now. Just for leisure purposes, I can't see myself spending $150+ on some studioquality joint. As bad as Sony has become in the recent years, IMO the best pair I've ever had was a Sony that wrapped around the back of my head..the bassjust hits so nicely.

Koss KSC-75 - if you don't mind looking dorky or aren't planning on wearing them outdoors

Creative EP630 - these go in the ear canal. blocks out lots of outside noise.

+1 on the ep-630s

Good Noise isolation, good bass, overall good sound.

sennheiser cx300 - its the perfect balance between being economical (ebay always has them for cheap) and being really good at sound reproduction. theyrein-ear-canal phones, but pick one of the three buds that fit you right and you're in for an aural treat. i dont know if you know but the sennheiser and thecreative are all made by the same manufacturing facility. same stuff goes into different bins for different brand names in slightly different forms andpackages. ive owned a $150+ pair before, as good as it was.. the cx300 is hard to beat for its value at its price

skullcandy earphones are pretty good i've seen ranges between $20-$50. i use the bose in-ear ones haha i've abused the warranty so many times im on my6th pair right now and i bought my original pair from a friend for 70

Skullcandy. I got a pair for 12 bucks and it lasted me nearly 5 months. And they would have lasted longer if I wasn't careless with them.

bump, because i didn't want to start a new thread 'cause of all the past earphone threads.

but from what i've read, should i be good to go with sennheiser? joints?

(need a pair of EARphones for my AT&T tilt)

cop the jbl buds, they last a life time. plus they have volume adjuster.

there at staples for 20+ but its worth it had mine since 01

after having regular ones for years, i decided to step my game up today and get some shure scl3's

they're on clearance right now for 59.99 from 200, (but only the white ones) at guitar center

they white scl4's are also on clearance for 79.99 from 300 (also only the white ones) but i dont think i need them

+1 for Sennheiser CX300. Good especially if you like bass. The Creative EP-630s are similar but not as good IMO. The bass is too muddy and clarity is not asgood.

Don't get the Senns off eBay though, too many fakes.

I cannot stress how good the V-Moda Bass earbuds are. best 70 bucks one can spend on earphones. i hear Shure is going into the mid-tier with a new line soon.should be around the same range; maybe wait for those.
