Ya I got a better deal then online plus at the time online only had Jesus with white diamonds I went there and got the one with yellow diamonds and got to see how thick / thin the chain was and decided to upgrade as well

Im so confused when it comes to this jesus piece stuff. Cant Golden Sun or Icebox make you a "micro" plain 10k gold jesus for a decent price ? Or you need IF&CO's exact mold ?

I want one that looks like IF. i remember someone on here saying they can make the exact same for much less in 10/14k but they never said anyhing since

Damn. I could never justify spending $80/g for 10k. This weighs the same as the micro jesus and is only $200.

Anybody here allergic to 10k?
I got a chain cheap a couple weeks ago the first time I wore it I thought I might be allergic. Subsequent times it was fine though.
I think it's the presence of nickel that causes it. I'm still unclear about how common nickel is in 10k--I've seen it said places online that 10k alloys contain nickel, other places otherwise. I think it's a more common problem with white gold. I was reading around I might be wrong but I think good white gold is mixed with platinum or palladium

hey I think it's copper too cause I had a 22k chain once and it bothered me sometimes but I wore it anyways. I've also read the same thing about white gold, that the higher quality alloys use palladium. But I'm pretty sure that all grey metals are rhodiumed these days and that process uses nickel. I only wear small 18k stuff these days and it never gives me a significant problem.

Do only the bracelets come in the box? When I got my chain that thing came wrapped in tissue in a small envelope between 2 business cards, wrapped in a padded envelope in a UPS overnight box.

I took my chain to get appraised a few days ago so I could get a new insurance policy, and of course they write it up for like 3x what you pay.....
If anyone knows any good personal articles insurance let me know..... as of now going to likely go with usaa
