Anybody here allergic to 10k?

I got a chain cheap a couple weeks ago the first time I wore it I thought I might be allergic. Subsequent times it was fine though.

I think it's the presence of nickel that causes it. I'm still unclear about how common nickel is in 10k--I've seen it said places online that 10k alloys contain nickel, other places otherwise. I think it's a more common problem with white gold. I was reading around I might be wrong but I think good white gold is mixed with platinum or palladium
I think only white gold has nickel in it and if you're getting an allergy from 10k than you would still get it from 14k because it still has nickel in it. Could be a copper allergy. I have never had any problem with 10k.

Ive heard of people getting reaction with 10k because of higher content of other metals while those same people didnt get anything with 14k. its hit or miss

I have to cop my micro before Zyzz I do want that Virgin Mary too not the circle one but the full body joint.

400

Do only the bracelets come in the box? When I got my chain that thing came wrapped in tissue in a small envelope between 2 business cards, wrapped in a padded envelope in a UPS overnight box.

They probably just do it for the stuff they make in house, but not stuff from the wholesaler.

It's a real nice case

Rey should take a crack at making that style of jesus piece. He would clean up.

What happened to all the 3d printing dudes were talking about in 2013?

Somebody should have copied the if mold

What's the weight of the IF micro? Lax said his was 8 grams I think

What's the baby jesus weight range?

Micro is 5-7 grams from ifco so probably 5g for 10k, 6g for 14k and 7g for 18k. These jewelers should buy a silver one and copy it.

know I'm late but I have a nickel allergy as well, belts are the worst for me most luxury belts have nickel buckels which give me a rash on my stomach, they stopped using nickel in the white gold mix yrs ago for this reason now I think the use palladium in place of it, not sure though.

Would it be dumb to get a steel chain plated? not referring to yellow gold.

i want the chain to be brighter. Its a steel chain thats old but its my fav chain and would like it to look new and brighter. referring to the chain and the pendant
