I'm not understanding why you're placing 50 over T-Pain/Akon for hook-WRITING as you say,
just for the auto-tune
which has nothing to do with the writing portion/level of ability.

the worst hooks that have been the most successful has to be by the Yin yang twins. Shake it like a salt shaka, whistle while you twerk, get low, wait till yousee my **@@, the list goes on.

because most of the reason that it sounds good is the autotune, it's just a novelty. Imagine if he sang I'm In Love With a Stripper in hisnormal voice, just wouldn't have nearly the same effect.
 
Don't forget Pharrell. You know he got the hooks already thought up on most the hits Neptunes are handing out...
 
^ Chad was the mastermind behind the beats, but as far as songwriting, I'm pretty sure thats mostly Pharrell
 
If Nate wrote them then def Nate. But 50 def does produce hit records when he gets on something.
