Song was def hype when it came out. I went to Charlotte that summer and it was crazy erytime that song came on. Especially at the West Fest

The only time that dude was in NC was when he shot the video. I think by the time he got on he was already done with NC. I lived in NC at the time and yeah itwas hot having a song repping your state but no one was really in love with dude like that. He def. was not treated like all of the acts that rep Atlanta aretreated in GA.
 
As long as I lived in Charlotte, I never heard anybody showin love to Petey Pablo... The only musicians that still get love are Anthony Hamilton, Jodeci, &Little Brother
 
From nc(salisbury originally) and basically everyone is right. Dude gets no love! The song was straight when it first came out but dude did too many remixes tothat song too.

I remember last month when I was in DC visiting my peps and that song came on in the club and my boys was like " son that's you right there, GETHYPE!"...im like what the *%+% for lol.
 
Im from charlotte people liked the song but nobody messed wit that clown. nobody knew wat part of nc he was from. And dude went ATL on us lol. what a douche.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, I see now. I aint from NC so I wouldn't know but I see where yall comin from. It was sorta like Ricky Watters that playedfor the Eagles/Seahawks. Ppl from back home aint fool w/ dude cause once he got in the league, he act like nobody from the hood helped his clown (derogatoryword for butt). Dudes like that deserve to get they home pass revoked. I'm wit yall F Petey Pablo<----- Blow that whistle (deragatory word for a femaledog)
