So N.E.R.D's next single is..

I'm excited for the video high-key to see what they cook together. Like a mix between Provider and Cee-lo's "Gettin Grown" (Dont ask me whythose 2 entirely different videos came to my head I just want a mix of those 2 for the video)
 
I'm gonna cosign on everyone who said it should've been "You Know What." That's the best song on the album.

"Sooner or Later" is a good song, too, but it'll get cut for a radio/video edit, and it always sucks when they do that.

Definitely the most radio friendly song on that album. This would've been a great choice and probably been a smash hit.

Sooner or Later is amazing, but I don't think it has the mass appeal that "yeah you" would have had.

Plus...its gonna be wack on the radio without the long guitar solo.

Yeah You as a single? Are you kidding me?

As far as getting radio play, You Know What and Anti Matter would get more play than Yeah You.
 
The reason why N.E.R.D tracks AREN'T played on the radio is because no one buys the singles. They don't receive enough digital purchases to get airplayand make Billboard Hot 100 charts, etc. Record sales are down, and people don't even buy their albums so you definitely won't hear them on Top 40 radioregardless.

Are Lazer Gun or My Drive Thru any good? Because I dont have those joints but I love Seeing Sounds....just curious...if they are any good I will check themout.

"Lazer Gun" is one of the best tracks by N.E.R.D, in my opinion. I don't really like "My Drive Thru", not reallyfeelin' the uptempo beat and Santogold on the track.
