1. Co-sign...albums this year sucking. But my favorites were "Seeing Sounds" and "Narrow Stairs" by Death Cab.
"Modern Guilt" by Beck was solid.
The best album though for me is, undeniably, "Stay Positive" by The Hold Steady.
2. Last year was way better. American Gangster, Graduation, The Cool, Icky Thump, Vampire Weekend, Mind Control (S.Marley), In Rainbows(Radiohead), Echoes,Silence...(foo fighters), Magic (Springsteen).

if he had shaved a couple tracks off H.N.I.C. 2, taken the top 5 songs of Product of the 80's, and then omitted Big Twin from the entire equation, he wouldof had an undisputed classic on his hands

Yeh man... Prodigy crushed it though. H.N.I.C. 2 = one of the most slept on albums of 2008
Edit: I think the reason is because his subject matter went over a lot of peoples heads. Dude brings knowledge though.

I f's with NERD,but Seeing Sounds was sub-pra, definitely not a top candidate IMO.

^i still can't believe Statik, Jake One, and Black Milk dropped around the same four week span. It was almost too much crack for my ears. I swearStatik's joint is by far the most slept on of the three.
