^ i used to play and collect pokemon cards waaay back in grade school. but i stopped after the 2nd generation cards. the newer ones were crazy! huge damages, longer lives, too much energy demand etc

I religiously bought The Source from magnet in megamall for probably three straight years starting from perhaps 2001-02. They were P250 back then if I'm not mistaken, but when they jacked up the price to P450 so I called it quits. That's the price of a hiphop cd so I thought I'd rather spend money on those. I pickup an issue here and there at filbar's for cheap once in a while. Nice stuff in here guys.

yo sir flashout01 yeah i used to be a no limit fan back in highschool... youre right most of my source are a decade old (circa 99-02) thats the time when i was heavily into collecting magazines... now i seldom go to booksale to magazine hunt cuz basically everything youll read on the magazine is readily available on the net...
yo btlgrnd try hunting for magazines @ booksale! you get good finds for less than a hundred!

Its been a while since i have visited Booksale, place used to have really good finds. Back issue of slams for 150 and sole mags for 250 i think.
Slam mag now sucks imo, pages are getting thinner and thinner and hyped up stories. Wont waste my money on those, Good thing is my brother in law still kept on supplying us with basketball/sneakers mags (Yes even Clavel
).

I tried playing that with my cousin back in the days. But after a few games I realized it ain't for me. Magic cards was and always been my true calling.

^yo con! bought bulk of those mags during my college days. fernando's book sale is my secret spot... you know how it is!!!
yeah had a brief stint playing magic... but i hate the fact that it stresses my brain to figure out how to win and i ended up collecting it instead of playing it so i returned to my 1st love, collecting NBA cards!
ima look for my penny hardaway collection and post pics... kinda sad though that he used to be number 2 behind MJ when it comes to cards prices... now he is simply an unlisted star (referred to as a "semi-star" back in the day)...

^nice autographics collection man! though im no longer familiar with those inserts that you posted especially those with a piece of game worn jerseys embedded on the card they are appreciated! must have been released right after i retired from nba cards...
