Lol,
Not to worry you or nothing.
But the VC IV isn't any better,

well it didn't do me any good.
Fractured ankle, out 6-8 weeks.

boo.

As far as lunar foam,
I haven't had a chance to test it out, nor am I sure I want to.
proabably gonna stick with 2k4/2k5

reason why GM, Ford, and Chrysler wanted more money.
pretty bad idea to buy bball kicks that don't give you as much mileage for your money than other bball kicks.

My nephew got Hyperdunks as his HS Team shoes this season and he has only been practicing in them for two weeks and when I tried them on they felt like theyhad already bottomed out too. Its a really light weight shoe, but they felt so cheap and flimsy. I have a feeling my nephew is going to need new shoes beforehis season is even half over.

wow everyone has issues with the HD
i just play in jordna IV lol i was thinking a bout getting some to ball in but i guess not

ive seen people play in them way more than the 80 hours and they are still runnin hard...everytime i ask them have they lost their feel they say no....verysuspect tho when they are so light and soft

These shoes are high performance for only a couple of wears. I can't imagine NBA guys wearing them for more than a few games. They feel flimsy just byholding them in your hands. My pair bottomed out in less than a month of regular ball. Say no to lunar crap.

Cause everyone isn't ballin like you. Or some people have their priorities right.

That sucks, b/c nike knows how to make a cushy forefoot without tech. the max chosens from years ago had no zoom/air in the forefoot..and they felt nice ...andlasted.

lunar foam....lol. always be suspicious of fancy names especially when they invoke outer space.

what about the flywire? is that everything it's supposed to be?

^ I think flywire's nice.

Anyway, as promised, here are pics of my now-retired Hypers...

You cansee the heel came apart, and in the third pic, can see that the rip has gone along the edge of the carbon fibre.

Having had this happen, I'm still getting another pair, cause I really like how they play, I'ma just have a spenco cross-trainer in there from thejump.

I hear you, except I chucked the box/receipt about a month ago, so I can't go thru the place where I scooped em from.

Do you need the OG box to send them back to Nike? Also, when the lunar died in them, I tossed the OG sockliners to replace them with Spenco's. Haha, sothere's some pieces missing in the shoes.

If all that's okay, I'll drop the $30 to ship them back to Nike. There are no Niketowns near me.

you dont need the box or receipt to ship them to nike as far as i know. check nike.com for how to return them.

if you're near a niketown, just bring them in there. they are very easy to deal with from my experience.

^^ Just go to nikebiz.com and call the customer service # and get a claim number.

Ship them out and you'll have a $110 voucher coming to you in your mail.

I assume that voucher would only be good at NDC, or a niketown, correct?

NDC won't ship to Canada, and the nearest niketown is in Seattle, I'm in central British Columbia.

I'd assume being Canadian complicates things.

EDIT: Really sorry to threadjack, OP.

Nike pays the shippin since they send you the label you put on the box to ship to them. And with it bein a new shoe they may actually just replace it for yourather then send you a voucher.

Yes you are right about where you can use the voucher but that is easily solved. Either send the voucher to someone awesome like me who would go pick up a pairof whatever you want and ship it to you or sell the voucher like so many other people do and instead of bein out 110 bucks you'd be out like 20.

Yessir, Speco Cross-Training insoles. They really help with the forefoot of the Hyperdunk. But the heel does feel a tad think once those are in.

I think the Sof-Sole Athlete insole would be great as well.

Agreed....been using the cross trainineg spencos for years.....they really help the HD's even after several wears....

Just call that number in which is in toronto, you pay to send the shoes the ship you new ones, if not the same ones of equal value and performance.

Manglor, Code6, thank-you both very much for your help.

Like Code6 suggested, I'll go thru Nike Canada. The link you posted is a little dated, in that its directions for finding product style number, andmanufacture date of product are off, at least on my hyperdunk tag.

I think I found the style number, it's below the MADE IN CHINA FABRIQUE EN CHINE lines, and is 324820-171.

As for manufacture date, there are two dates on this shoe, below the size chart: 2/13/08 and 3/31/08, which do I use?

Or should I ditch the form and just call that 1-800 number Code6 posted?

Thank you again for both of your help.

Even if you fill the form, they will just email you and tell you to call the number. I've had great success with Nike Canada 3 or 4 pairs came back withfresh pairs. You just call the number, they ask you for the syle code and then the date (when there's two its usually the one on the right hand, but idon't think they really care, as long as one of them is within two years) and describe the problem as long as it has to do with the performance of the shoethey will replace it. Then the give you a reference number, you write it down on a piece of paper and put it in the package with the shoes. about a 3 or 4weeks later you'll prollay get another pair of HD's.
