Album is mad mediocre to me.
It was a forced attempt to be commercial by Columbia with the whole Trackmasters on this hoint...
It got some joints on there...but ya'll on wet saying its better than Illmatic.
Mad overrated. I Am > this.

I can honestly say I respect Nay's opinon on HipHop and see where he's coming from 97% of the time... This is one of the 3% where I question whether ornot he periodically indulges in WATER
Only skippable track on this album is Nas Is Coming, god awful production from Dre he ruin my guys lp if you ask me. But minus that mis step perfect. Its onlyfault is that is that it came behind what has been hailed as the greatest lp of all time.

Top 5 hell naw, WAY to many dope albums out there, it's not even in my top 10 or 20. Great album though, a classic imo. The Message, Street Dreams,Affirmative Action, If I Ruled the World, & I Gave You Power alone are testaments as to how good it is and thats without naming some of the hidden gems. Ilove the productions, the Message is one of my favorite beats of all time. Anybody who denies this album its due is simply on rocks or a *++$*@# hater but Top5, HELL NO

Honestly, I could care less if people don't have it in their top 5 or even top 10 but I'm enjoying the fact that so many people appreciate the work hedid on this album. And since Illmatic keeps getting brought up, I'd rank it 3rd behind IWW and Stillmatic. Call a _ blasphemous but I been trying hard tounderstand the legendary praise Illmatic continues to get.

I feel you on this Kerlew, I think this album is a certified classic, great material but ain't no way it's top 5. But everyone is intitled to their ownopinion.

IWW has some joints, I'd be frontin, but as an "Album", *++@ is wack, NaS is deffinetly my top 3 fav (and recently I think he may be the GOAT,but we'll save that argument for later, I'll let BIG hold that for now). The album is just a MESS, its just everywhere it SHOULDN'T be, whereIllmatic was in the project parks or building lobbies, IWW takes you on this OVER done Mafioso flavored ride through what is suppose to be QueensBRIDGE, butends up soundin like back and fourth trips from Howard Beach to Ozone to some mob meeting, and monthy trip to Vegas . . . Not the NaS I'm a HUGE fan of . ..
