Aquemini = ATLiens = Greatest albums ever in the history of recorded or unrecorded music.

ATLiens, shocked me a little the first time I heard it, because I wasn't expecting that kind of sound. I really think that album is STILL ahead of it'stime.

Aquemini, the first time I heard it I knew it was an instant Classic. I've listened to that album hundreds of times and still can't find one flaw.

I love Aquemini. I'm not sure it's THAT much better than Stankonia (BOB, Red Velvet, Slum Beautiful, Toilet Tisha, Ms Jackson, So Fresh......people act like this album wasn't incredible) or any other 'Kast album for that matter though.

"Skew It On The Bar-B" go hard. "Da Art of Storytellin'" (both parts) are ill. Spottie......is epic. Incredible album.

I don't really consider Outkast a group, more like a duo IMO. If they aren't in the top 5 duo's of all time then I must be unaware of some viciousMC tag teams.

It has been clear that your "ear" is simply different. You prefer a certain brand of hip hop - not to say that you can'tappreciate the OutKasts of the world, because apparently you do. However, where as some people look for a boom bap or a conventional sound of rap music, Ithink for me the fact that there is no group BEFORE or AFTER that sounds like OutKast is enough for me to hand them the crown.

Before it's mentioned... I do NOT consider Tribe their "blueprint" in any way.

Outkast is the GOAT period.

I'm sure I'll get flamed (and possibly banned from the music forum), but I never really liked ATCQ. I've tried numorous times to hear what the hypewas about. I guess it's because at the time I was more into west coast rap when ATCQ was in. I like a few songs from them, but nothing to put them the #1(or top 5) group of all time.
 
I haven't felt Outkast since Aquemini



There is no doubt their first 3 albums are clear cut dope then they changed up and started doing all that off the wall s__ they lost me. Andre still candeliver a dope verse but i really dont think they will be like they were on the first 3 albums
 
I doubt it needs to be said at this point, but whatever Air Ant has said on this issue is infallibly correct. And I haven't even read his posts in thisthread.
