So lately I've been bonding a lot more with my dad. When we are driving in the car I ask him questions about his childhood. Whenever I ask him about girlsthough he tells me how he was never allowed girl friends because Back Home, the girls family would murder the boy who touched their daughter.

So I was at my aunts house today and one of my OLDER cousins was asking me if I had a gf. I laughed and said no because I am unable to be open with this infowith my fam. He laughs n tells me that thats impossible considering who my father was. I laughed and was confused and he was telling me that my dad was alittle player player back in Palestine. So then my aunt comes in the room and I ask her and she tells me "there wasnt a single girl in Palestine who yourfather didnt like and have something with." HAHA. It made me really happy knowing that my dad had a similar childhood as me. She said they would sneakbehind trees and like on the balconys and stuff. Anyways, it was refreshing.

Thats cool. Enjoy the time you got with your loved ones, so you don't have any regrets later on.

Cuz none of this stuff even phases me. I look at my parents like I would like at any stranger off the street. There is no mystique for me. They are justpeople like anybody else, and I'm guessing they did the same regular people %#!* that everybody else did when they were younger.

why you so dam emo all the time

Yeah, appreciated.

My dad has told me some crazy *** stories about growing up. I could seriously write a novel about his life.

- Beat up a teacher then jumped out the 2nd floor window to escape from the security guards.
- Took off his shoe and hit a teacher in the head with it after the teacher called him gay in the middle of class.

- Pulled out some guy from his window on the BQE highway (NYC heads

) and stomped him out right there because the guy almost ran my dad into the divider
- Broke those big wooden boxes they put fruit in with his head
- Went to a bar and started arm wrestling people, eventually he beat everyone in the bar that challenged him and by the end of the night they were gettingbouncers from bars across the street and other places to try and beat him
laugh.gif
(no one did)
- He grew up in an area with many stray dogs that would bite little kids and cause problems, so every night my grandma told me she would know my dad was cominghome when she heard the sound of dogs crying

- Some dude tried to rob him with a knife in some warehouse so my dad picked up a metal bar that was on the floor and literally put it THROUGH the guys shinbone.

Yeah, many many many more.

I saw my Father's child hood pictures for the first time in my life.
And he looks exactly like me when he was little.
