According to Kid Cudi on MTV News.

Was suppose to be a song called "Cooking In The Kitchen".

Hov on the original version of Welcome To Heartbreak would have been just nuts.....ahh well

Good...I'm not really trying to hear Hov over that type of %%%@. No offense to anyone who liked the track.

It would have been ill to hear Jay spitting a story over a beat like that. Since it was supposed to be called "Cooking In The Kitchen"...could havebeen an ill story of a young dude hustling and his story trying to come up.

Who am I though LOL

Seeing how Kanye kept revising the songs that wound up on 808s, it probably didn't sound like the what we know to be the "OG" version. Also, Jayunderstands the art of making an album, and what it requires in terms of consistency and cohesiveness. This beat, in whatever stage he heard it, more thanlikely didn't fit the overall theme of the album he's making/made. And although I agree that it would've been dope to see how this beat putHov's creative ability to the test, if my second point were true, it would have become a mixtape track. And that would've been just plain wrong.

that's what KC lacked, consistency and cohesiveness.

Couldve been a BP3 cut for the album...

Yet, its perfect for Ye's album....so it was meant to be passed on.

At the moment, the Chicago artist is working on Kid Cudi, Mr Hudson and Jay-Z album's. He revealed that he did have a track with Jay-Z for the album called 'Haters' but it didnt fit the tone of '808′ so it will now appear on Jay's Blueprint 3.

At one point in the evening, Kanye referred to Jay's album as 'drug-dealer rap %$@*'. lol

Get mad.

Someone has good taste! The beat is seriously not even like that....rather lame.

Kanye should have took a note from Jay passing on the beat. smh

Truth has been spoken.

650 you are 100% right, IMO. And that's why KC was his worst album. I don't know what the hell he was thinking with that one. It had some heat, but itnever really sucked you in the way good albums do.
