Question about gif-making vol. Ulead ftl?

Yes ive read that avy making thing but i had the Ulead trial..It expired..and now it wants me to pay.
is there a way i can get it back without paying?

And how can i "edit" a gif? ex. Put someone's face in someone elses car in a gif? Thanks you

you're a savvy young guy, you should be able to figure something out.
as far as editing the gifs like that, i don't really know. i don't think ulead is capable of that.
it's why i can only do simple avys...people hit me up like "i see you do avys, can you do this over this and this?"...easy.

I deleted it, and installed it back and it still say i have to pay

Use Photoshop for that. You can Photoshop a face on a frame and then import it in Ulead. Or you could make the entire avy in Photoshop.
 
I always end up making .gifs that are somehow like 5.6 GB's

Here's a few tips...

- 4 second video clips make it somewhat easier to get it under Yuku's definition of 150kb.
- Delete every other frame and then make the "Frame Delay" about 7 or 8 seconds.
- Optimize the .gif to lower the file size even more.
- Widescreen avys tend to be smaller in file size than Fullscreen avys.

Let me warn you, even if you follow all these tips, it still may be impossible to get it under Yuku's definition of 150kb without the avy's qualitybeing so grainy. It makes the whole thing very frustrating.

of course not, who does that? I didn't.... While we're on the subject.... this topic is really the only discrepancy I really have with yuku...oh, well and that stupid magician also but that's another discussion... I got a stupid warning from Jrose because of a avy that I uploaded that was 99k onmy computer but once I uploaded it on here the darn thing jumped to 180K! what type of peanut butter and jelly +%%+ is that? Really? Damn glich in the matrixor something. Making avys does get frustrating from time to time all thanks to this problem, that's why I don't even change mine often anymore.

The magician, everybody has a problem with that so that's already a given. My main problem is Yuku's definition of 150kb. A 70kb avy inthe real world is a 180kb avy in Yuku's world.

According to Meth, it's still in place because of the mobile users we have. Hey, I totallyunderstand that. It's just that the problem lies with Yuku and why they add extra kb to the file size. A Yuku staff member gave me a bogus reason (at leastI think it's bogus because no other size I've been a part of does this to avys). The reason they gave me was:

What other board out there uses a "transparent border" around avys that are not 100x100 to prevent it from messing up the layout of the border whenwe, as avy makers, specificially make our avys 100x100? We make the avys the exact size it's supposed to be but yet Yuku still taking since March 08 toeven address this issue. I know they have a lot going on because of their incompetent developers over there bringing our site down every other week, but theycompletely ignore me when I ask for updates. That's just not cool
