I would actually go out and buy this album. And I haven't bought an album in about 8 years.

Nas claims the reason they haven't collabed was that AZ always switches his number. I actually ran into AZ this summer and asked him about his number beingthe reason why Nas can't get in contact with him and he laughed at it. AZ has said on many occasions that he wants to work with Esco and has even triedgetting the Firm back together. I don't understand Nas, he goes away from doing the things that people love him for. Nas has released 3 albums without andtracks Premo or Large Pro or a AZ collab.

1) The fanbase that a "Nas/AZ" record would cater do isn't the type to go in a record store and actually support some *$@+ (Case and point, thelast 10 AZ releases + Untitled don't even equal a Platinum plaque)
2) AZ is a (VERY) poormans Nas Escobar, who happens to be a STARVING man's Nasty Nas
3) AZ is just wack, flat out, he's about as cool as Raekwon in 2008 (that's not cool at all). No one cares about his records, and his sales show.
4) Does A even have a deal?? Is he STILL livin off the glory of Doe Or Die?? Get over it, make a hit.
5) The Firm album SUCKED, so when they DID do an album togeather (with a HUGE budget) back when AZ was HALFway decent, that album sucked. As bad as people sayNas's production is, just imagine the SoundClick beats they'll be using on this album (if NaS would be willing to commit career suicide for the 4th or5th time that is)
6) AZ has a streak goin, maybe 8 straight GARBAGE albums

I think its more of a money+ego thing. Nas can obviously outsell the hell out of AZ. I can see Nas thinking like this, Why I make an album with AZ that wouldsell 20x more then a AZ only album.
