You know what's sad though?...

By today's standards, that is considered old school.

I remember the first day I heard that song like it was yesterday (walking into Jimmy Jazz downtown Brooklyn with my friends, Angie Martinez premiered it on theradio, had to be around 3pm). EVERYONE in the store just stood still bopping their heads in unison with the straight %@$-FACE. I was already a hugeBone-fanatic back then, but BTNH with Biggie??... OMG! lol

Me and my boys memorized the whole song by like the next day.

Even though BIG murdered this, my personal favorite is Bizzy

Seven A.M. woke in the mornin
With Henny caffiene and green and nicotine
No dough so pop a couple of doze
Lil Ripsta, %%*%! Mista Clean
%%*%! Dean, deep in my temple and not to get
sentimentally sting, wit my
Instrumelody, and heated
especially for your team
And a forty-five indeed will beam
in between the scenes destroy your dreams
You willin to die, we'll see
how many flees when I cause the scene

I remember Bone Thugs on MTV's Summer Beach house thing and they had said they were going to do a track with Biggie. I thought

, then it dopped

still one of my favorite tracks of all time regardless of genre, artist etc. Biggie was killin' it.

I remember that too. I thought it was a bad mix back then. Little did I know.

Not to thread jack but honestly, which do yall think is better, this or Thug Love? I can never choose. And Bizzy's verse was straight

I put so many folks who say they don't like rap music onto this and they loved it

and don't ask me why I associate with such people, cuz I honestly don't know myself...

There's classics and then there's undisputable classics. This track is an indisputable classic.....

C/S

I know of many people that completely disregard Bone's involvement, as soon as BIG is done they hit 'Next'.

The song just isn't the samewithout Bone on it. The overall energy on the track is phenomenal.

Imagine Biggie getting on more of these type of beats. He always liked more melodic %%%... He would be killing these south beats now....

I still randomly say this for no reason at all I play this song at least once a week I know the lyrics back and forth

One thing that kinda irks me about the track is that the intro/build up is too damn long. Other than that, it's straight
