I like both. Illmatic is my favorite album. I never get tired of listening to it. But em's worst stuff > some of the iffy maaterial Nas put out likeNastradamus. Both get bumped. But Em really goes off on songs when he's in the right mindset. Nas hasn't done it at the level that Ill matic was for awhile Though Untitled was def a solid album.

@Em bodyin Biggie on Dead Wrong. I ain't gon lie Em verse was nice ,but BIGGIE DID THAT IN THE EARLY NINETIES. He did that verse before 94. Em did his verse in 2000 and Biggie's fist verse was still better than Em'srants about horse's heads and devil worshiping. Early nobody was rappin the way Biggie was. No one. stop that fam. You got be ready to punch my CRT in themiddle of the screen.

Next, Eminem far all his talent...lacks the complete package that Nas has. Nas is top 5 as far as rap music's greatest storytellers. Em's best outinwas Stan. Cmon now. Nas catalouge is second to none. Probably the best all around in rap music. I honestly can't count any Em album's as classics. Likelet's be real. Most of y'all ain't hear Infinite to Em blew up. No matter how great it is, it ain't a classic. Illmatic was one of the mostinfluential lyrical disc ever released in rap. MMLP was close, but no cigars. He lacked subject matter. That's been one of Em's biggest problemsthroughout his career.

Then again, I won't knitpick because you gotta find a niche and he did it for himself. But I just can't relate to da bol. As far as emcee vsemcee....Nas still wins out. I'm being as unbiased as possible. The only angle Em might have on the bol Esco is flow and rhyme pattern. Em's rhymepattern is absurd tho and he showed his ++$ on Renegade, but overall Nas' delivery, lyricsm, vivid storytelling, and creativity is just better thanEms....Damn....homie had me in my bag with that absurd talk about Biggie.

Stop, I'm a big Em fan and your making it WAY too obvious that your a big Em stan. Em is my favorite rapper by far simply because I can relate to him morethan any other artist, but with that being said, there is NO way in hell his catalogue is as solid as Nas'.

However, in a parallel universe where Eminem didn't make songs like "Just Lose It" and "@@* Like That" and spit more thought provoking%%@$ like he did on "Renegade". I would say that Eminem was a better rapper. The talent is there, but he just doesn't tap into it enough.

So Nas Escobar FTW.

i dont like eminems silly songs either but he does that because he obviously has a fan base that likes that stuff... his fans are of a greatervariety than nas' so he has to make all type of songs to please all different types of fans.
 
Nas has Eminem beat in every Category, The only thing Em has him beat in is flowing


Lyics wise it could go either way but Nas is more clever with him and more conceptual
