For the most part all of Frisco is pretty nice. You may be driving to Plano or Dallas to work tho.

Anyways, I just moved down here from NYC/NJ. Im staying in Mckinney and working in Frisco. I just moved down here a week ago, and wanna see if anyone is from around this area. I'm looking to play ball and join a league if possible, so if anyone has some free time let me know.

^^ Coming from NYC, I can tell you that the prices down here are super cheap. You can get a 2-3 bedroom for what you would pay for a studio in the city. All the apartment complexes I've seen are new and very nice. It's no problem finding a 1 bedroom with pool and other amenities, for about $1,200 or less. I;m working in Frisco btw, and the Stonebriar mall is right nearby so theres alot to do around.

whats good fam. i was in here about a month ago asking about cities around the Dallas area. few folks said look into Mckinney and Allen. looked into those and they are top prospects. i do have another question. what yalls thoughts about the city of Wylie? nice place? good area for families? schools seem decent from what i read. jus wanted to ask cuz the house prices were a tad cheaper than Allen but obviously for a reason. let me know. thanks...

Not sure what age man but the Frisco Fieldhouse (http://www.fieldhouseusa.com/) offers rec bball for a majority of ages. Its right by downtown frisco and offers lot of sports.

I've gone to all 3 Kicks101s this year and I've enjoyed them all. I like sneaker shows though just because there are good trades that can be had and some good deals. Bought Bred 1s for 300 DS compared to the 400-500 everyone else is asking for.

so have I. Kicks101 is actually one of the few "mom and po" events that are pretty chill. Seems like every other weekend there is a new shoe event coming out. Most are garbage but I give props to my boy Frank on kicks101. Couldnt make it yesterday because of work tho

Wylie is cheaper because it doesn't have the same quality schools and isn't as nice as Allen. It has somewhat of a small town feel, but not anything like Grapevine or Denton. You are on the north side of the metroplex and that is all that matters.

Im just asking, but do you ever cop online? .....FCFS line, store raffles, twitter RSVP, etc. all that is just a headaches to me.

its the other way around for me
I usually go to the FCFS spots depending on the area
and I will never do a raffle again
and never tried twitter RSVP
