Ok lets talk about the 11/12's

History
The 11 first sneaker with patent leather, Carbon Plate, and was a shoe wore by MJ when get got one of his ring

The 12 a shoe wore by MJ when He got his ring

Both are great looking sneakers but whats the hype with these things. I borrowed my friends concords and great shoe but wouldnt get my top 5 jay. 12'shavent wore yet. Ever since CDPs were anouced thats all people wanted to hear about the 11/12 pack for months on end and now that its 9 days away people arefoaming at the mouth more then they were with the carmines. Can someone explain the hype around these shoes cause all I see is people getting this for HYPEpurposes and a few just wanting them for wateva. I'll copp if I can cause seeing how people like to charge 300 for 11's I rather just pay 310 and get afree pair of taxi's

The reason it's hyped because most people like them and there their "grails". Personally, I agree with you XI's are overrated, but I stillwould buy a pair any day. As for the XII's, there the same way. People like them and consider them their "grails" and that's why there'sso much hype.
 
whats wrong with the hype. Iv been collecting seriously for 2 years now keeping all my shoes in vnds condition and always had jordans before that but beat themup. Im a junior in college and I never had the chance to get wither of these shoes. I think im more excited about this release than i ever have been aboutanything else. I am obsessed. My roomates are so sick of me talking about them and my gf is about to kill me. I am so happy and stare at the pics in the mainthread several times a day. Jordans are my hobby and i love them. Right now this release is the only thing Getting me through my finals. Why do people hate onthe fac that I am so hyped for these. Why is that a bad thing. When i get these shoes im takign them out of the box and driving home with them laying in mylap. Nike Talk get excited with me stop hating on the hype GET PUMPED

dry pack. i understand the history perspective but other than that no.
