so being that the jb year has come to an end. many of us already have the 11/12 in hand even though they release next week. i ask what is your single(can'ttie or pick more than one) disappointment of this year? i ask because i'm stuck in the house and bored out of my mind. so what is it jb throwing theshadows instead of the Chicago's in the cdp?,the over all bad picks for the cdps as a whole, 6rings, oly retros.
for me its the rape of the 1s man i did love this shoe but some the the things jb has done to them dis year...holycrap. i still love 1s and i willadmite jb ended the year off strong with the strap highs, phat lows, cdp, and the laser and red highs were ok

Packs in general was a huge disappointment and the fact that they changed the date for the last pack that really messed peoples money up. Well mine atleast

my biggest disappointment was the fact that these packs came out as "packs". I liked the concept to equal 23... but the fact that many of us had todrop 310 plus tax every month for probably one of the shoes in a pack kind of sucked. Not to mention there were some great xx3 that released with a high pricetag as well and some quickstrikes.... True some packs hit clearance.. and can still be found.. and i had a discount on most... but any one here could haveeasily spent 4-5 grand this year in kicks.. And a lot of people don't have it like that. But we have to feed our habit

Only a fool would spend 5 stacks in shoes in a year. Life is all about choices and I chose to do more meaningful things with my money this yearthan buying shoes. I'm buying the 11/12 pack next Saturday and I bought the cdp 5's separate at a spot around the way and that was it for Jordans. Ineed money like some of your parents have to afford all or even most of those packs.

The biggest dissapointment this year was Jordan Brand as a whole. The Nike Retro's killed JB in every way this year.

yeah im with you there, i happen to know ppl that work at finishline & and footlocker so i lucked up and didn't have to pay in full. istill think ppl would have over looked the price if jb (a) made better choices for the shoes in the packs (b) better quality ( use can use decent materials forthe 6rings, but not for the shoes that built your legacy...really?!?) and i would have love to see like a little book or something explaining the inspirationfor the shoe, mj personal thoughts on the shoe etc. i know pointless but i think it would have been i nice little touch

I would say the concept of the pack was great. The execution was terrible. If i am payin $310 for the packs...I would have expected better quality.

Another one woudl be the fusions...the fusion concept had a lot of potential bringing the two best sneakers together into one...But wow they turned outhorrible.

Everything released this year with a "jumpman" logo esp, the "fusions"

yep, biggest disapointment was THE PACKS. out of ALL of the packs, i only wanted TWO shoes. and as everyone knows, the quality wasn't very good.

Just to clear it up,, and i'm sure its not directed directly at me.. but everything i own i work for completely. And people that can spend 5 gs good for them.. i'm not saying i did, because i only bought what i liked.. and wanted.
just to clear it up, as i'm sure its not directly meant for me... i work for everything i own. and i work hard. For those that do spend 5gs onkicks definite power to them Not saying that i did, but it is possible. I obly bought what i liked and wanted.

3/20 pack is the biggest disappointment IMO. When I first heard about em I was excited but then I saw the 20s..

I didnt think there was a colorway thatcould make me change my mind on this pack but that was it

All the packs were trash... We all (most) wanted one shoe in a lot of the packs... i know for me the DMP made all these packs not even worth a cop...

at least for me... the packs were a total failure! to expect the consumer to drop $310 every month on (in most cases) one pair of shoes that he wants, and onethat he doesn't, makes no sense.

in total this year, the only pack i picked up was the 3/20, and that was because i got 30% off, and i had a $90 gift card. also, i will be picking up the 11/12pack. which comes out to a total of $400 on the entire package season.

however, if jordan brand were to have released each shoe separately, i would have without a doubt picked up the II, III, IV, V, VI, XI, XII ... at even at $150each, that would have come out to a total of $1,050 on the entire package season.

so should i thank jordan brand for saving me over $600??? im dunno... cause as a consumer i really did want those shoes. but one thing is certain. jordan branddid miss out on a GUARANTEED $1,050 out of my pocket!

the pack was a great concept but they messed up on the majority of the shoes. i mean that by the colorways that were released.

*%#% i was addin some things up and i spent well over 8500 $ this year on kicks !!!!! not to mention the clothes that go with them . jb droped too much heatthis year . glad i can start spending my money on something else for 09 , gotta getta house this year . but oh well at least i can cop kicks and still have myother toys ( zo6 and ss chevelle ) and still go out dam near every night and get crunk . oh yeah and cop at least an 8th of purp every other day . so i say fukit !!! you only live once !!

The packs, especially when they released almost all the OG colorways
Feel bad for the people with the same colors

Biggest disappointment was just the brand as a whole and it's inability to innovate with sophistication and quality. I bought one JB shoe this year- theXX3 blk/stealth. And even THAT was disappointing due to it's uncomfortable fit around the forefoot and stiff bottom that feels like a tap shoe. I willlikely not buy a single JB shoe in 2009. Once they start playing the shoe game like MJ played his game, I may come back.

Exactly wat Integra said.....

Titanium XX3 being limited.

As far as packs, I have enough dicipline to not waste money on a pair of shoes that I don't want...even if it is attached to a pair that I do want.
