Yeah, "The Blueprint 2" homey, follow the moves
You put on two tubesocks, you couldn't walk in my shoes
I was dealt a bad hand, F!!! what else could I do
but keep somethin up my sleeve that'll help me through
But can you believe, everywhere I'm at, models come through
Cat-fightin, cat-walkin, it happens often
It's true how society don't want me to move
into the penthouse building with spectacular views
They're like uhh, "He's a menace he could never be a tenant"
I'm like ooh, what's a young %#$#+ to do?
I bring the brothers to the villa give a feeling that I don't
give a **!@ we just chillin watchin chandelier ceilings high as F!!!
Old lady, don't blow my high
'specially if you don't know my life, don't make me bring
Sharpton in it cause I'm dark-skinneded or
dude with the 'fro and the Rainbow Coalition, I'ma
victim of a single parent household, born in a mousehole
Mousetrap, ++#!%* wanna know
How so, how Jay get up out that, here, yeah
I snatched purses I per-se-vered, yeah
I had work, fiends purchased, it was clear
I was out there sellin hope for despair, but stop there
I swear, I only make good from my mouth to God's ears

Had to get out the hood
And I can't justify genocide
But I was born in the city where the skinny ++#!%* die
Born in the city where the skinny ++#!%* ride
And as a skinny %#$#+ I had beef with high size

Flow, Lyrics, wordplay, what does this verse not have?
what yall think?

Nah, not underrated...

Only cause I thought it was a crazy verse the first time I heard it. Never had to grow on me

Jay-z's most underrated verse, which is simultaneously his most overlooked verse...is his verse off of YoungG's off of Puff's first solo effort.
These here's the dog years that mutha %%*#*#% don't shed
I try to bring you life but mutha %%*#*#% want dead
So I travel with the babble, with the chrome, with the lead
Cause when it's on, then it's on, the shots flowin through your head
I been rich I been poor I saved and blown bread
Some say I been here before because of the way I zone
Some said, Jigga zone is like the fallin of Rome
Reoccuring, that he thinks like that cause he's observant
Won't be known until I'm gone and %@@#%% study my bones
Mentally been many places, but I'm Brooklyn's own
In the physical, unseen, like Allah's body
In fact my thoughts don't differ much from that of God body
But it's the ?????, that got cats, likening me
to the mob of John Gotti, rap dudes bitin me cause
I got it locked like the late Bob Marley....
Pardon me y'all, the great Bob Marley
Solemnly we mourn, all the rappers that's gone
%@@#%% that got killed in the field and all the babies born
Know they ain't fully prepared for this New World Order
So I keep it ghetto like sunflower seeds and quarter waters
To walk em through it, you know, talk em through it
Know these beats is more than music whenever I talk to it
Destined for greatness and y'all knew this, when I doubled the pie
Had a shorty in a girdle comin out of B-W-I
I hated algebra but I loved to multiply
And I told my @$!+% BIG I'd be multi before I die
It's gonna happen whether rappin or clappin have it your way
Cause if that's my dough you're trappin, I'm clappin your way

I've never liked that verse. It just doesn't flow well at all to me. But this line always got me:
And I told my @$!+% BIG I'd be multi before I die
raising my fingers to critics
raising my head to the sky, Big, I did it, multi before I die!

I still get chills from that.

i'm giving this title to his verse on dead prez remix of hell yeah

As long as there's - drugs to be sold
I ain't waiting for the system to plug up these holes
I ain't slipping through the cracks
So I'm at Portland, Oregon tryin to slip you these raps
The first black in the suburbs
You'd think I had extasy, percocet, and plus syrup
The way the cops converged, they *!@%%! up my swerve
The first young buck that I served
I thought back to the block
I never seen a cop when I was out there
They never came out there
And out there, I was slingin' crack to live
I'm only slingin' raps to your kids
I'm only tryin' to show you how black *%%$+% live
But you don't want your little ones acting like this
Lil Amy told Becky, Becky told Jenny
And now they all know the skinny
Lil Joey got his durag on
Driving down the street blasting Tupac's song (Thug Life baby!)
But Billy like Snoop, got his blue rag on
Now before you know it, you back in 'Nam
Now the police, got me in the middle of the street
Trying to beat me blue, black and orange
I'm like hold up, who you smacking on?
I'm only trying to eat what you snacking on

Thinkin about these verses makes me realize how unfair it must be to the rest of the game while Jigga is still active. This guy really spits on another level.
