Hard copy or electronic copy of an album?

What do you prefer?

If you purchase a cd and burn the songs to a disc, it can't really get damaged. The cd also offers the best quality.

An e-copy like from itunes may be lost somewhere down the line by accident. Is the quality better than on the cd?

I'm not sure which one I prefer.

only did it wit HHouse

I rather have the CD, why? Because their something called Sound quality. Mp3 are just bits and pieces of the music and losses aspect of the sound cause itscompressed. If you listen to Jazz music you'll understand what im talking about.

I buy hard copies. Some Singles I'll buy off itunes but I prefer to DL Singles ([unforgivable] FOR FREE [/unforgivable]). One Hit wonders are not theartists I like to support.

Too be honest I recently bought 808's and heartbreak hardcopy cd so that I'd have the booklet and could look at all the credits and shyyyt but the damnletters were too small and I couldn't read any of that shyyyt

, so Idon't know if I'll be buying many hardcopy cd's if it's going to be like that.

Like most have said,

If I am going to spend the money I want something in my hands.

Plus I can just rip the cd.

cds are wav files... dunno how many kbps but i kno theyre 16 bit...

mp3 is gonna lose quality everytime cuz its not a lossless format... no matter how many kbps its compressed... and once audio is compressed there's no undo...
Yeah the maximum bitrate of mp3 is 320kbps (correct me if I'm wrong.). With FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) you can get really high bitrates,I'm thinking about 1000kbps (again I'm not sure). iTunes is nowhere near that.

I'll buy a hard copy if its an album I really want most other stuff I grab of the itunes store was like just old albums I always wanted from a back in thedays but never got.
