Incubus is the greatest band known to man. Period

Fungus Amungus was the only really good incubus cd. SCIENCE and Make yourself were good, but the newer ones are diluted.

And Radiohead, Coldplay and RHCP play very different music than Incubus, why compare them? I dont get it. You can compare Incubus to 311 and Alien Ant Farm ifyou're gonna compare, in which case:

(older) 311 > (Any) Incubus

A lot of nonsense being said in this thread.

Incubus isn't even the "greatest" alt rock band of the 90's, let alone the "greatest" alt rock band known to man, let alone the"greatest band known to man".

Greatest band known to man?

I'm gonna disagree on that one...

I love Incubus...One of the better, consistent bands of recent memory...
 
The music forum always makes me laugh. You dudes will name good bands and then list some crap that makes your list completely null and void. As far as Incubusgoes they argood and I really enjoy their music but best band ever? I will say that Incubus is probably the best modern/current band. However that isn'tsaying much considering the state of music these days.



Oh yeah and anyone that listens to Coldplay needs to come out of the closet. Coldplay is a complete variant U2.

I completely agree with the OP, Incubus' replay-ability of nearly all their work and their superior lyricism and musicianship never tires. A Crow Left ofthe Murder is so close to being a perfect record. Morning View never gets old. Make Yourself has no weak tracks. Science is insane. Light Grenades isphenomenal.

I don't know what their legacy will be, but on my behalf they deserve to be revered as "The Who" of our generation.
