Man I was just talking to my boy at work about this. My company party was this past weekend and some of the women in the office got blasted... I didnt want tobe that dude..

I feel your pain
Our holiday party last year was ridiculous. Our boss took everyone to Smith & Wollensky's and paid for everything.. but we all met at the bar and weredrinking before dinner. I had at least 10 Grand Marnier on the rocks and I don't even know how many glasses of wine. I don't remember most thenight.. Went with my boy to this bar and he forgot his ID but I went in anyways. All I remember is talking to this girl then I woke up in her bed.. She turnedout to be a 40 y/o cop with mad money.. I was like

We had our christmas party last week and it was great, i never thought that a company party could be this fun. But it's only fun if you have people aroundyou that are wiling to @#@%@! up.
But the worst part has to be meeting the people that you hooked up with or the ones you tried to hook up with the day after. It's going to get real awkwardmeeting the engaged girl that I hooked up with, especially now that i don't want anything to do with her.

my company party last year was kinda awkward and fun. i worked at kohls so it was a bunch of old ladies and the weirdos that worked overnight. it was funny tosee the old ladies get so messed up

we had ours on saturday and i kept it cool. had a couple drinks but maintained my composure. there was extra money left so close to 20 of us headed to the cluband used that $$ and bought two bottles

Its not that easy of a decision, at least if its a corporate job. Not going could actually hurt you. You want to come across as a "team player"rather than a "loner" who would rather go home and chill on NT instead of bonding with co-workers Its also a good opportunity to meet with execs youmay not come in contact with on a daily basis.

The Christmas luncheon had no alcohol but since it was at a restaurant I used to work at I had the hook up. Drank a few long islands, then we headed tosomebody's apartment. Got a little crazy off of dark rum, but it was mostly only younger employees.
