Maybe "historic" is an understatement, but decent condition worn armies can still fetch 500+ to get a pair for 160 definitely puts you in the "found money" zone. Pretty much any time I get pair of anything for 1/3 of the market price or better, I get that thought that - no matter how much I really want the shoe - I HAVE to think about reselling it. ...That's how you know you got an absolutely fantastic deal, that no matter how much you love the shoe, the idea of how much of a great flip it would be crosses your mind, like the "angel and devil" on the shoulder in a sitcom.

I am thinking like getting a pair of DS HOH royal for like 550, or a pair of DS miami night lebron 8 low for 450. Yes it isnt 160, but you can flip those in the thousands.

Anyway, bottom line is 160 for a pair of decent condition army is a fantasic deal.

^honestly... If you have, or can find the stealths from last year, they're pretty damn close as far as quality goes. Nike did a good job on the stealths. If I didn't have anthracites, I woulda been happy with stealths.

Just always liked the ALL black and everyone thinks they're like Galaxies or something now days

I do feel that "some" of the hype around foams is slowing down a good bit, I just picked up a pair from 09 that you don't see come up for sale often

I agree. I'm not a huge Foam guy, and I actually unloaded a lot of my pairs at the height of the boom. Looks like that turned out to be a pretty good move. ...If I really miss any of them, I'll probably be able to buy them back cheaper once the spotlight shifts to something else.

But, part of that also has to do with the flood of crappy CWs that have been coming out recently. Nike swung and missed a lot since the second release of the eggplants, but there were enough good pairs to keep the shoe strong - pine pros, metallic reds, Stealths, Coppers, Pewters, etc. If Nike goes back to basics, they could reboot the hype, but they have to act fairly quickly. Kids have very short attention spans now - the window of something being hot closes quickly if you don't keep feeding the beast.

crazy thing is i got my caros for 100 shipped off of ebay right before the boom

got blue pros for 150, coppers for 135 and ds og black with gum bottom for the the same price i was winning so much

yeah, this new found love of Caros baffles me. There was a DS pair in the other site for over a year at something like $225 shipped. Dude could not move them. I offered on em a few times, but he wouldn't budge from that price.

Now beater caros go for more than that
