I thought its worth making a thread for the paranormal, This means Aliens, 2012, Bigfoot ETC.. Feel free to post pictures, links, storys, beleifs etc.

Nostradamus predicted, well, Sort of, major events way ahead of his time. 1000s of years ahead infact, and the best part, accurately. Alot of evidence saisthat he was just lucky, but if you can get past that its good fun.

Mayan Calendar (*****)

I love reading about the mayan calendar, It predicts all major events in the future, extremely accurately, up to dates, people and all details. It predictsfrom Jesus' birth and death right up to 9/11. It allso predicts that the end of the world will come in 2012.

I'm partial to believing in all those things you poayed above except 2012.
It's a misunderstanding, it doesn't mean the end of the world...more like a time era.

if they had enough foresight to predict the end of the world to an exact year, why couldn't they also give a
vehicle of destruction...i'd give it more respect if they said a great bird will destroy earth in 2012
 
who cares as long as none of that %#$# runs up on me.... w/e it is will still live to breath and continue it's mythological existence.

ever wonder why the moon doesn't rotate on its axis? cause it is an artificial satellite. the moon is a couple billion years older then the earth, soit's not a part of this planet's make up. ancient civilizations didn't start to mention the moon in our sky until several thousand years ago.it's believed that the moon was towed here, and is not caught in the earth's gravitational pull. it can come and go as it pleases. NASA astronautsclaim that someone had long been on the moon well before we stepped foot on it. sorry, there's not any decent pictures floating around on the net of thestructures on the moon, but NASA got thousands.

And as far as 2012 goes In Mayan cosmology, time proceeds in cycles-not in a straight line. So its just acknowledging thatthe world will begin a new cycle not that anything will end. There will be a rare astrological occurence.

But I hate when people try to give a date for the Earth's demise cause which calendar due we go by because while it will be 12/20 in America its 12/21 onanother part of the world soo will we have enogh time to protect ourselves?
 
Bigfoot is definitely believable because they did a special in the History Channel and they said that walk is extremely hard to duplicate, in fact they said itwas nearly impossible.

Agreed, The materials used etc, the weight, size and labour used are too great for builders now to make with all there cranes and other fancytools. Yet man, 1000s of years ago, was able to build them with there bare hands, some wood and some rock..

Don't suppose you know the name of a tape im looking for, Its called something like "The ______ Tape", where a family are having there meal andaliens land outside of something and they all try and flee, it was caught on tape. Any other paranormal tapes you, or anyone ese may know of, could you link meplease.

i know the tape you speak of. i don't know the name of it, but i'll do a search for it. i first heard about it when FOX use to doits UFO shows back in the mid to late 90's. i just saw it recently on youtube. it is some wild footage, but i'm a little skeptical.
