I was wondering how many of you guys own a Scion tC,,, are they any good? I was looking into buying one but is between this or an 06-07 Honda Civic EX coupe.

depends, TC is more sporty so insurance is gonna go up but its faster
but tc is made by toyota and alotta ppl say toyotas are more reliable because hondas have ****** problems

I think the Tc looks better. My have friends one each and besides a little more Torque I feel in the Tc, they're overall the same to me

I had to decide between a tC and that same model Civic, and I chose the tC.
I liked it, I got it in manual so I had fun learning how to drive stick, it had a lot of good features for the price, plus I just felt more comfortable drivingit than the Civic.
Don't listen to people like Shaq DIESEL 34, who say it's "mad gay" because that's an incredibly ignorant statement. I've heardit's a girls car, which always makes me laugh. I've seen just as many guys driving it as girls. If it's a girls car then fine, I know I had a lotof girls who complimented me on it and wanted to see it, so that didn't hurt.
In retrospect I would have gotten a RSX Type-S used, and put the difference towards the higher insurance for the Acura, but I was happy with the tC when I hadit.
I got into an accident totaling the car, and I couldn't afford to replace it because of my current financial situation.
I say test drive both and see what you're more comfortable driving, what feels better, what you like more. My buddy has that same kind of Civic and I likedmine a lot better.

That's only true on the automatic V6 transmissions. The Civic he's looking at is an I4 so it's going to be a very reliable car.

this man speaks the truth. i dont care if i get flamed either. if you want to spend money on a tc might as well spend a few extra racks and cop that civic si.if you were tryin to add %@!+ to it, you can do way more to the si than that pos tc. the tc motor is the same as the camry motor and is waste of time. the simotor and is kinda like the integra.

Integra's had 1.8 liter dual cam vtec and non-vtec engines... 99-00 Civic Si's had 1.6 liter dual cam vtecs. New Civic Si's have theK series engine.... sooooooo I don't see how integra and si engines are the same...

eh honestly tc, civic they're all the same to me. if i see a modded one i automatically think some ricer is probably driving it. if i see one that'sstock then i think oh great another one of these on the road (for tc).
