I believe they upped the fees a couple of months ago. I was planning on selling my shoes again there, but after seeing how much the fees were, I decided notto.

It's good to buy off eBay, bad to sell.

^^ well, if no one is sellin' then there is nothing to buy or jacked up prices. THUMBS DOWN

There's such a huge market of disgruntled ebay sellers. It baffles me that Microsoft who is always trying to buy someone out doesn't use thereresources to come up with a legitimate alternate. Or even Google for that matter. Hell I have to get my damn post count up just to sell here now.

Its crazy. I just got my invoice for last month and they basically take 10% off earnings. That plus paypal fees = ftl.

I was going to through my shoes on there next month but I'm thinking that's a no go anymore. Ill try the b&s forum.

i stopped selling a long time ago on ebay but now it seems like it sucks for buyers too...............ebay is crap these days. its not even worth selling onthere no more so nobody wins.

Just another post to get the number up. I need 39 more after this.

eBay sucks and now sellers can't leave a buyer negative feedback.. so ppl constantly try rip you off cuz you cant do anything

i was planning on trying to open up an alternative to ebay about 6 months ago, but i don't know the know-how or time to pull that sort of thing off yet..but the market it there, for sure. there's a lot of obvious improvements that could be made to the online auction system that would put a hurtin on ebayvery quickly.

Yahoo used to have an auction site, but that was shut down a few years ago. Not sure why.

I do remember using the yahoo site a few times too. Wasn't quite as easy to use as ebay, but it worked ok. I don't think I ever sold anything onthere, but I do remember getting my sunshine Kobe Is on there. I would think Google, or someone else for that matter, must be fairly close to coming out withsome competition for ebay. When it does happen, ebays ridiculous fees will go back down in the blink of an eye. They rip you off now because they have nocompetition, simple as that. They allowed themselves to get too big, and it's gonna cost them dearly sometime down the road.

THEY REALLY HIKED THE PRICE ON THE FIXED PRICE LISTINGS PRETTY HIGH IS WHY IT WAS 44 DOLLARS TO SELL THE PACK....HERE IS A OPTION...RUN A AUCTION FORMATLISTING AND ADD A BIN PRICE....THAT WOULD HAVE ONLY MADE THE FEES 15 DOLLARS. AND IF YOU DONT WANT BIDDING TO OCCUR JUST MAKE THE STARTING PRICE THE SAME ASTHE BUY IT NOW PRICE.
