Could M.A.S.H be the most boring show in the history of T.V?

How did this show make it to local broadcasting networks?

Theconcept of the show is good, but I can't see it being funny. Anyone ever peep the quality of the show, I can't hardly see the charecters. Maybe vietnamvets can relate to it.

This guy from the Neilsen tv rating company came to my school and he said that the finale of this show set the record for most viewers.

The show is based on the Korean War...I used to watch it when I was little and I thought it was pretty good.

Me and OP must be brothers cause I've felt this way ever since I was 4
Everytime it came on I turned that channel quickfast

I used to hate this show as a kid....then I started watching the reruns a few years ago....it wasthe scrubs of its era....I think it was a great show, that blonde chic was the %!@%

it's boring if your trying to watch it like a sitcom or a reality tv show, you have to be into it like a person is into Lost or Heroes or Prison Break

I knew when I heard that theme music it was time to go to bed.

I was like 5. Mom dukes tucked the kid in it was a wrap.

But overall, shows in the 70's 80's we're good shows. Like, check I love lucy and samson and son, gliiegans island and others. Those shows we're entertaining. They still play that damn show at night still, I mean it must have some viewers but I don't see why.

Two of the three of those shows don't exist... But although I was the same and hated it as a kid, now that I actually know some of the historybehind the korean conflict I think it becomes more interesting. The issue is that humor changes generally. Mash is funny and all, but it is far from the typeof humor I am used to seeing on TV. But it is still one of the few shows from that era that I can watch. At this point i even have a hard time with alot ofsitcoms from the mid 80's. Nostagia isn't enough to make low production values, campy situational comedy, and poor writing interesting to me.

You want to talk about a dud show? Brady Bunch. Nuff said...

Even as a little kid, I would change the channel instantly when this show came on. Looked so damn boring.

you must be young...

i remember being at K-Mart the night the final episode was going to air. (remember this was before VCR's)

they came over the PA and announced that the final episode of M*A*S*H was about to air. nearly everyone in the store dropped what they were doing and left.
we drove home as fast as we could and made it just in time for the start of the show.

i also remember my mom crying when it ended.

I used to never give it a chance because of the theme music, but it's really not that bad compared to most sitcoms from the 70s. Taxi is the best sitcomfrom the 70s I can think of.
