Which do you guys prefer? I currently have Directv but they're going to charge me $130 for the HD upgrade while dish is offering to do it for free.

Dishnetwork is doo-doo. I can't believe I had it for so long.

I have Cablevision, but out of your choices, I think I'd go with Direct TV.

I'm in the same dilemma. I currently have directv and I'm looking to upgrade to HD channels. I might get Dish network instead. How much is it for HDchannels and the box for Dish Network?

It's $10 extra just like directv but they said if your credit is good the installation and receiver is free.

Dish Network is hot doo doo. You have to catch everything three hours early.

I have the dish network turboHD bronze package + HD local channels for about $30 a month, no installation fees. So far I haven't had any problems. It hasESPN, CNN, CNBC, ESPN news, TNT, that's basically all I need.

Have you tried calling to let them know you are thinking of switching? you may be able to get a discount if you tell them about the dish network offer.

I prefer Direct Tv btw.
