im really contemplating on it this year. new years eve is 90 percent hype. ive been to the clubs, house parties, hotel parties etc etc. worst option is theclub its just like any other night except overpriced. 50 bux to get in? smh

Got work the next year. It's just regular parties on any other day. Only difference is for the new year. It's more of partying than the actualcelebration.

Who cares what the cover charge is? It usually end up being such a small % of what you end up paying over the course of a night withdrinks/tables/etc.

I might stay home or just chill at my friend's crib. I'm not so much worried about the $ spent, but more worried about my safety since a grip load ofdrunk drivers will be driving home once the clubs/bars close. I had to do my HAM (Hospital And Morgue) program right after New Year's Day when they gotfresh 'batches' of bodies in...disturbing. Some of the folks puked, but I love anatomy so I thought it was interesting, but the way they died was SMH.

That's the plan. Almost managed it last year but I'm pretty sure this year will be the first time I don't have to go anywhere.

no sir, I'll be with family at grandma's house. we been doing it like that for years. uncle makes buffalo wings and we order pizza. we used to get in agame of monopoly.

I've never got into the new years partys. I'd rather enjoy the moment with my loved ones.

i read somewhere that new years isn't actually the most dangerous holiday to drive on in regards to drunk drivers, it's actuallyThanksgiving, then i think New Years came like fourth or something

I believe the Wed before thanksgiving is bad as far as drinking and driving goes. Everyone is home and whoopin' it up. We will either stay home or chill ata friends. I usually keep it low key, every few years there is a party bus/pub crawl but I don't have the energy for that these days

I think I will this year. At most going to a friends house. After what happened last year. Cost me damn near $2,000. First the $500+ for me and my ex to go tosome party her friend recommended. Yeah a 100% Asian party.

Not that Ihave anything against asian people. It's just everyone looked at us with

. Like what are you doing here. I had paid in full. So I went with it. Open bar in a small place. Go ******ed drunk. Then some dude tried to puthis hands on my girl. I got into a fight. Not much of a fight one punch he went down. Got thrown out. We made it back to the metro north. We both passed outwith a ton of people around us. All I remember is waking up to a sea of puke on the ground.(oh noes the gucci loafers where destroyed).

No one around us. Some how got home. The next day Icouldn't move without being in excruciating pain. I somehow %!%%## up my neck the night before. Cost me $1,500 for basically some pain pills. No insuranceFTL. (My job got me off the day before.) All my ex complained about was that she lost her stupid cashmere glove that I bought her. Wanted me to go back.

There are gonna be a lot of angry cops out there working on New Year's Eve.

Best place to party (if you're going out) is at a hotel. You can party and you don't have to drive or depend on someone else to take you home.

My dad likes the entire family to be together on New Year's. So we usually always stay home and chill together.

my friend got a suite out at some hotel close to all the bars...so i'll be bar hopping. no lame party at a club for me. i hate all that stuff. honestly, ifeel like the best new years event is like a houseparty with your friends. but everyone always wants to go to some club that's throwing some over hypedparty.
