I never heard an actual animal or remember hearing an actual animal crying besides those PETA videos, but today my dad opened the door and hit our pomeranianand he kept crying for about 5 minutes; it was one of the worst sounds I ever heard. It was truly sad and my eyes got misty.

Im not one of those people who getting attached to pets but I never like to hear that. It makes me very uncomfortable.

When I brought my puppy home for the first time. He had just been separated from his mother and the litter. He cried that entire night.

. Our other pom saw it happened and dashed outsideand tried hiding under the car, but failed to get under it. Now the one which got hit just shakes alot and walks with a limp.

Hows your puppy doing now?

It's scary when you don't know whats wrong with them

Most puppies cry when they are brought home, poor little things. It's such a huge change for them. Thankfully most get over it relatively quickly

lol wth.. how hard did your dad hit your dog with the door???

i agree, it's one of the worst sounds.

alright, so my old dobie had bone cancer and was growing a tumor in his leg. it was his last night before he got put down. so i am walking through my housein the dark. he is sleeping by the door. i stepped on his tumor. i never heard him cry like this in his life. he ran around the house crying as loud as hecould on 3 legs then laid down and just shook for a half hour. i was bringing him mad people food and dog treats trying to make him feel better but hewouldn't eat anything. i felt so bad for that. dude was my favorite dog too and he only lived to be 6.

Just because he's blind?
I know a dog that was born blind; a retriever. He's about 2 now. People don't realize he's blind until the owner tells them. Plays and interactswith other dogs as well as humans just as if he wasn't blind.
Bumps into walls too sometimes.
