Deltron 3030 is a concept album set in the year 3030 that tells the story of Deltron Zero, Del's futuristic alter ego. This is what aconcept album should be. There's only one concept album that is even comparable in terms of quality and execution in my opinion, thatbeing Prince Paul's A Prince Among Thieves. This album has so many strong points it's hard to cover them all. The story is excellent, it fallows themain character as he fights against an oppressive government and massive corporations as well as the current Galactic Rhyme Federation Champion. The productionis handled entirely by Dan the Automator who did a lot of work on the Gorillaz self titled debut. The beats are eerie and dark but also incredibly energetic.Lyrically Del tells a story like no other using social commentary and narratives of epic sci fi battles. This really is an album you need to hear all in onesitting to really appreciate.

Were you the one who posted Dela's album last week?

If so, keep this up!

I was listening to this album back in the 8th or 9th grade and my father thought that i was depressed or something lol probably because the beats are so darkhowever this is definitely a cool album. I have to listen to this album all over again one day though, i also found the instrumental album almost 5 yearslater!

dope album MASTERMIND is my fav song, but i was bumpin REFLECTION ETERNAL harder when this dropped we would goatit which album was harder:.

Del dropped Both Sides then 3030 and disappeared.
Well until, Full Circle which he was barely on.

Although, I was told you could see him on the streets of Richmond riding a Razor scooter

IMO Train of Thought is the better album, but that joint is a top 20 all time hip hop album imo

it's funny you mention Reflection Eternal though, i was seriously contemplating between Deltron 3030 and Train of Thought for this weeks installment
