Like a few others have said, return the gifts, get something for yourself and move on. Shorty sound wack anyway, no offense.

I know I'm gonna have to experience it sooner ofr later but I don't let females I datr know about my finances. NEVER mixes well

Sucks man.. i'm bumming this xmas too... but i have to say, after spending all of last year's holiday season bed-ridden with a miserable flu, justbeing able to celebrate this year's season at all feels so nice... makes me think we should only celebrate xmas every other year or something, really hasadded to my enjoyment of the holidays (despite being single still, which can be rather depressing itself around this time of year). Then again, just joiningyou as an official alumnus of PSU as of this past weekend might be adding to this enjoyment, so maybe i'm really skewed here in my perceptions....regardless, enough self-promotion here, i swear that wasn't intentional.

I just wanted to post to support my fellow PSU-NT'er... say that i think we'll probably lose the rose bowl in a competitive game... and mention thatthere's plenty of great things about being single you can always think about in times like these, and it's all about perspective. This might be the endof (but i doubt it, the first time never sticks) something you thought was going to be great, or it could be the beginning of an entirely new leaf for you inlife - one that suits you better than this one ever could have, and make you feel silly for ever considering this path before.

Tough to see that angle right now i'm sure, but try to keep it in mind... there's sure to be plenty of positives to come out of this seemingly badsituation once you're able to recover from this blow.

so she dumped you because you have differing opinions on money management? bs. that's not the reason.

so like she basically mad you not payin off her credit card and car note for her?

no no, she doesnt want me to pay off her debt at all...i think it has just clouded her judgement whenever you spend money on anything and her Dad is very tight with the wallet and acts like the country is going to hell b/c Obama was elected and she buys his crap yet she still voted for him

im going back to being angry

ya (former) girl has these kinds of spending habits and that much debt, and yet you're sweatin her breaking up with you? she may have been the"one" but her finances definitely aren't. maybe she did you a financial favor and saved you a lot of stress in the future. hate to say it, butmoney will always be an issue in serious relationships. and from experience, unfortunately it's make it or break it for a lot of folks.

At first I wanted to come in here with an Eagles joke, but nah, I feel for you man. Definitely like other people said, you're better off without her. Amoney related breakup on Christmas eve? She really is buggin. If a woman really loves you she's not gonna care what's going on with your wallet or bankaccount. Or maybe I'm just not getting the story.

im sure it's already been said, but at least you didnt have to get her anything for christmas
