Is It Me Or Is NBA 2k9 The STIFFEST Game ever

when i first played it i thought it was below average, now i'm getting used to it.

big downgrade compared to 2k8 in my opinion.

Never got into the 2K series. I bought 2K8 and sold it back. Can't stand how u gotta make crossovers and what not w/ the same analog that u run up and downthe court w/. Live got too too tooooooo simulated for me. IMO Live '03> ___

Just got FIFA 09 yesterday, and I like it. Very similar to 08 though.
 
its not that bad once you get used to it...online play does suck (xbox Live) i can never connect to anyone they should bring lobbies back
 
I have a PS3...and it hurts me to admit XboxLive is smoother online....they have a better network in place than PSN...

with that said i dont have that many lag issues...but 2k9 is definitely stiff...took me a while to get used to doing moves
 
the lack of fluidity is annoying

if i dish it to a man at the top, and he has a wide open lane to the basket, it takes way too long to get to the hole, and sometimes i can't convert
 
most of you guys arent willing to learn how to play the game, all you wanna do is run around with kobe until you can dunk it, or run to the 3 point line andbombs 3s, you actually have to use off ball screens now and defensive strategies
 
i liked 2k8 better, just too many missed lay-ups

the graphics in 2k9 are something serious compared to previous years though
 
Runs for me fine online. And I play team up more than reg head to head.

i hated when people would just throw up threes or use the shot stick down low and force a dunk
defense was crazy upgraded in this game.
cant just throw up crazy shots down low or cross court passes all day without gettin blocked or stolen more often
this is the first game that frustrates me, and i like it. i used to murder the cpu on hall of fame
