I've never actually talked to a dead person and asked them if they still felt high after they died, not saying you reaching but, thats a little preposterous to assume they still buzzed after death ... its a regular metaphor... comparing two unlike things w/o using like or as
he used the word "buzz" as double entendre as in buzz = fame or hype and as the buzz u get from the drugs
