Is It Me but this album has a Reasonable Doubt kind of feel to it. What You'll Think?

Like The Type of tracks were on that cool laid back type of +#! and it wasn't as commerical as the his other albums. It really reminds of Reasoable Doubt.Except for Hello Brooklyn but other then that it seems so simliar to RD to me

Thats a fair point...I see what you are saying about it not being as commercial. Very very good album that is well structured, and very well produced and Ithink will be more appreciated as time goes on. 4.5/5 in my book.

i know u guys will think im crazy, but i think this is his 3rd best album. just cant listen to hello brooklyn. and say hello is in my top 7 jay songs.

I wanna put this album above Reasonable Doubt sometimes..

Say Hello is great but the song on this album that is amazing to me is American Dreamin....one of Jay's best. This album is my fourth fav Jayalbum behind RD, Blueprint, and TBA.

I agree w/ all that.

X2

I don't see the big deal about this album . . . Sounds like a rapper past his time straddling the line of returning to prominance and completely fallingoff . . .

Tracks have a different feel, but I guess I could understand where you're coming from as RD has parts from classic gangster movies "Scarface" and"Carlito's Way".

for all the people that say jay z needs to make another album like RD, this is the closest you will get.
not so much the flow, but content wise

Its a great album indeed.

I think we (as listeners of hiphop and Jigga himself) all breathed a sigh of relief on this one.

Jay just sounds so much more relaxed in his flow compared to when he dropped Kingdom Come.

I think when KC dropped, some of us were worried that this was the "new" Jay. Atleast I did...
