Does anyone else NOT have any pets?

I dont. Not my choice though.

I live with my father. hes a great guy but he doesnt really like animals.

Which is a shame, because im a HUGE animal lover!

As soon as my financial situation is afloat, id love to live in a big house with a couple of dogs, a cat or two, and some birds.
 
I don't, not my choice. Dad refuses, never have had a pet. Id love any pet..

i recommend anyone to have at least 1 dog in their life time, there a great pet!
 
After Im done with school and everything Ill prob get at least one pit. Dont have any dogs now since we move alot and dont have any real need for any now. Myfamily always used to have big dogs back when we lived in East Africa as protection and a sort of warning (hopefully) if anyone was breaking in. Unfortunatelyit doesnt work everytime- 3 guys came in our house one night, sent by the F'in landlord none the less, to steal the money we were gonna pay the hag thenext day just so she could basically get paid twice. My dad beat one of them dudes up pretty dam bad but got stabbed so they got away and it wasnt exactly anideal situation...
 
The only pets I've ever had were hamsters and fishes.

Caring for pets can get $ too. My neighbor took their dog to get her teeth cleaned and workedon...spent around $700.

same, i owned like 2 guinea pigs, 4 hamsters, 1 sugar glider, and a few fishes. never dogs or cats. i live on campus right now, and they dont allow pets. ifi had my way, i would have a dog by now.

I have never liked pets or animals at all so I hope to never have any. I never understood the fascination with having
a pet. Just not my thing I guess.

never had a pet, but have always wanted one. i guess i never got around to getting one, however the only "pet" i had was a stray that chilled with mefor 4-5hrs and then ran away; my heart was broken lol.
 
i want a dog more than anything in this world, but my pops grew up in JA where they treat dogs like s!# and hestill has that mentality

Not at the moment because I don't like having pets inside. Once I'm not living in an apartment and have a backyard I'll get a dog.

Jamaica? wouldnt surprise me cuz I mean theyre dogs not people, theyre either strays or guard dogs basically.

And !*% is wrong wit the dude talking bout eating all these animals? rofl! Reminds me of how a guy working in the same company as my dad moved with his familyto Kosovo when they were opening up their new office and brought his dog. It disappeared one night, turned out the locals had stolen it and eaten it since theywere starving.
 
Yep, none here. I have absolutely no desire to ever have to look after any animals.

3 kids is bad enough and I barely have time to look after myself - never mind walking and feeding a dog and all the other stuff that goes along with it - andthe cost of feeding it and taking it to the vet and stuff.

I know people with dogs and I can sometimes see the appeal but I just wouldn't want to have to deal with it all the time.
